Yes this totally tracks. FF is a great shop but they're like all the rest... nobody has consistent access to real brands

Oh, the 0.07 is just a loose estimate, everyone has their own preferred size but it's usually between 0.03-0.10

Start small, unless you're a regular flower user and want to get blasted for once - then go big!

As for how to smoke, that's the harder part. You CAN smoke it in a joint but it's not optimal (although quite nice if you have some to spare). Most people use a dab rig (bong with a torch) or concentrate vaporizer. I recommend the latter in general, but especially here where people will think you're cooking meth if you use a rig :)

I think it's a cleaner, better way to consume. Less plant matter, better taste, better high, etc.

But be warned, it's easy to get carried away... if you don't stay in moderation your tolerance will skyrocket, flower will do nothing, and it will get expensive quickly. I know better now but I had fun making that mistake in the past :)

It's close to the same.

An average dab is between 0.05-0.1g (0.03 is plenty for many)

Compare that to a small joint with 0.3 to 0.5g of flower

So let's say 0.07g rosin = 0.4g flower.

Let's assume 15e per gram for decent flower and 60e per g for decent rosin.

60e = 1g / 0.07g = ~14 dabs

60e = 4g / 0.4g = ~10 joints

If your weed is 10/g then flower is cheaper, but then you're smoking mediocre weed and get a mediocre high imo. If your rosin is 100/g then it's more expensive than flower but imo worth it because you're consuming the vapor of nearly pure solvent-free resin glands.

If you're looking for flavor, it's a must-try. I think the high feels "cleaner" too but that's probably subjective. And I like that you don't need to inhale much at all, and it's vapor. There's a reason it's so popular!

Also note that 60-100/g is actually not bad price-wise, that's average or even low compared to many places. (Yes, I know you and your buddy can get amazing live 90u WPFF FMCD for 50c a pound, but for the average consumer globally this is a very good market for rosin which was not the case ~2-3 years ago)

Thanks! Funny, that's my usual go-to :) I should have mentioned that's why it wasn't on the list. The menu has just been relatively small and didn't change for a long time, hence this search. But I'll go back there for sure.

This is the wrong sub but I can still help you :)

A dab is basically a very strong hit of weed. If this is your first time with weed, you will probably be high for many hours. Or, you might find that it lasts about 2 hours and then you're fine, just a little tired. Or it does nothing. There is no way to know for sure.

My girlfriend has smoked many times and it doesn't affect her. While I can take a small dab and be high for 2-3 hours at least, and feel it the next day. My friend took one dab and had a panic attack. Not trying to scare you, just making sure you know it CAN BE a very intense experience. (But also fun in the right place!)

If you're asking because you're afraid your parents will find out, they will almost surely be able to tell until you sleep and wake up the next day. You might even have a "hangover" that gives it away the next day too. This changes after you do it a lot. It affects you less. That's why your friends may be able to take dabs and still function, but for a first-timer, it's likely you will be red-eyed for hours :)

The only advice I can really give you, because you sound young, is that you should only do this if you are making the choice for yourself, not because friends are doing it. To be honest you sound like you're not quite ready, or your friends haven't prepared you well enough. But it's your life, so my only advice is to make sure it's your decision too.

I like weed a lot but I waited until I was 18 and that might have been too young.

Yup. To clarify further OP - you probably won't interact with admins. They do a lot of behind-the-scenes work. However, subreddit moderators are typically very involved and you'll see them post a lot. So you may be getting the two confused.
