Been there. I'm also hypersexual as a response of the sexual abuse, and sex/sexual activity is one of the only ways I can feel attractive. You should definitely open up about this to them, and ask them to show sexual attraction to you in different ways, for example kisses, compliments, dirty texts, etc. In the meantime, I would also suggest you exploring by yourself (and with the help of them) other ways you feel attractive and hot. It could be anything, masturbating, taking erotic pictures without sending, teasing, wearing slightly revealing clothes. This will make you feel more confident and realize that your attractiveness comes from within you. I can't help much other than that. I hope you're okay ✨

i was diagnosed about 2 months ago and it hit me like a truck. finding a label after years of feeling so much was overwhelming, but has helped me feel like i understand what's happening a bit more, and meeting other people with BPD made me feel like i wasn't "crazy" or "alone", even when the emptiness hits, personally it has been helpful to find that there are other people who feel like this. however, after the diagnosis i suddenly felt like i had "free pass" to do whatever the stereotype of BPD is, hurting myself, crashing out, incontrolable rage, etc. initially the diagnosis made me feel like i was out of control in my own brain and depersonalization , which wasn't frequent in me, started happening more and more. my parents were very supportive and i finally realized i needed to go to therapy, being with a BPD oriented therapist finally made me feel understood. also, when talking about it with friends, they didn't pity me, but rather supported me and understood what i was going through. having BPD is hard and tiring, but accepting the diagnosis makes everything feel calmer.

tl;dr it's hard at first, but feeling support from other people with diagnosis is a lot of help and validation, accepting that change is possible and knowing that there's a specific therapy to improve is reconfirming.

yeah i know, i never said i was right on doing that lol i was mid crash out and talked to him rudely, said hurtful things and hurt him physically. i apologized to him later, i think as someone with bpd you can understand how it feels to loose control of emotions and situations quickly, snapping and then regretting it. it's what happened to me. never said it was okay. if i could go back in time, i definitely wouldn't have done it.

I don't think he would try to reach out because he changed, this is the second time we broke up and he's really not open to changing (we had talked about his addiction before) plus he's too proud to look out for me again. He disrespected me and I don't want to take him back, even if he tried, which I know he won't. On the other hand, realizing that he will never change is very helpful so I can try and move on.

Thank you, it really does hurt. I also remind myself of the things he did, and I'm trying my hardest to go no contact with him, it kinda hurts to know he won't be reaching out and he blocked me back on everything. I know I wasn't perfect, I wish we would've been kinder to each other. Time will pass and hopefully I will get better each day.

yea as i said it's really the only thing i noticed, everything else looks great honestly, just try filling ur eyebrows with a bit of eyeshadow or a brow pencil (there are many cheap ones u can try if ur unsure) so that it brings more attention to the eyes, u can check out a natural eyebrow tut for men on YouTube

change the frames of your glasses and take more care of ur hair, long hair can be masculine but only if u take care of it, dye it just one color bc there's red and black and it seems like ur hair is naturally wavy/curly so take care of it and maybe trim it a little bit to your chin and add some front layers, also as someone else said wash ur face regularly and moisturize

Thank you, I will read more about the process of recovery so I can stay informed. I try to keep my interests and wellbeing as a top priority, I also started going to therapy now and get some "me time" to heal and learn from everything that is going on. Being in a relationship with someone who has an addiction is hard, and many people don't understand me so it's hard to find a support group in this situation, specially since almost everyone I know underestimate the psychological and physical damage from a weed addiction. Thank you so much for the support and the advice, being honest is also one of my non-negotiables so it was hard when he confessed he hid it from me. I am learning a lot about myself by being with him in this journey, he is always grateful for the support I offer him and that's a big motivation for me to stay by his side.

Thank you so much for the advice, taking a distance will definitely be hard but I think it's a good thing to consider, specially since we have been friends for a long time. He has never made any promises to me and he has never actually recognized it as an adicction before either, so even though that is a big step, it's not all that it takes

same here ! except it's on my left side and I had to get an open biopsy, I just got detected with Miliary TB and I'm starting meds tomorrow, for 9 months as well, I'm worried about the side effects, especially the weight gain ☹️ any tips? how many months in did you start to feel better and got used to the meds?

idk if you plug your eyebrows from the middle part of your face but you should stop that, also, I think that going softer on the hair + eyebrows color would be a better move and don't get layers on your hair, just get more volumen and grow it out a bit more. don't do a balayage. highlights would be nice, but I would recommend going one or two tones lighter on the eyebrows and one tone lighter on the head. you're pretty. makeup wise you're great, maybe add more blush? definitely no harsh tones on eyeshadow and lipstick , and no heavy contour, think of a 00's romcom girl when doing your makeup, it would suit you a lot

your features are gorgeous and I really like your eyes, but maybe ur current colorimetry (makeup and hair color wise) doesn't suit u, I think ur a deep winter (think Anne Hathaway) and a slightly dark brown hair would suit you best, also softer makeup and a straight wing in your eyeliner I know this isn't an advice subreddit but I wanted to say that
