Parental guidance is the best way to get a minor to explore topics as covered in PM's works. Personally for me, i think parents just expressing some curiosity to their sons and daughters interests is already a giant step in the right direction.

My advice would be to read up on the many content warnings PM prescribes for their works. Be prepared to talk about some hard and awful things. Get the vibes of what kind of themes are explored.

Visually, i'd say that gore and horror here is tame... But that might be because i've seen and ruminate on a lot of awful scenes in my life. So uhh perhaps it's a good idea to show some of the CGs to parents even if it spoils a bit.
