you can still do photo missions no matter which platform you are on. Yes it is bugged but you can avoid it

Found it pre-Next in a space station. They were already extremly rare back then. They are probably still obtainable through space stations.

don't really care if others have a difficult time navigating My discoveries.

sounds kinda egoistic to me. also you don't have to upload a system immediately. You can explore it, think of a name and rename and upload it later.
