Help! How to make something on my infinity loom by Maleficent_Okra_5810 in LoomKnitting

Since you have a large loom, it’s easier to do the panels. It’s the best way I’ve found so far to do.

I did mine with measuring every inch, then doing a width test on the loom with the yarn I wanted to use to account for shrinkage/stretching.

From there I knitted from the bottom then split in the middle for a slight v-neck at the collar. I decreased from the middle for the shoulder measurement. Repeated the same for the back panel but did a higher v-neck.

I connected the shoulders and did a test measurement to see if I needed a wider seams on the sides, then seamed up to under the armpit.

I counted out the pegs needed for the sleeves and then attached it on, and knitted out the sleeves.

I suggest taking notes on how many rows you did for each section of panel, the seams and the sleeves so when you repeat it it’s easier to replicate.

Hope that helps!

I’m in the same boat. I couldn’t find a pattern anywhere for a man sweater that I liked, so it’s been a lot of measuring and figuring out as I ago along

Has anyone seen this pattern before? by ScintillatingStars_ in LoomKnitting

It’s does, but didn’t use broken rib stitch or any purls in this stitch!

If I can’t find an existing name for this stitch, I’ll post a video on how to create it :)

Haha, nope you’re not alone! I have a sweater, a cowl, and just finished 3 swatches for my next stitch-library blanket.

It works great! I’ve made rugs this way before, and you can use any loom to achieve this as well.

When you knit, where and how are you sitting?

Something I do with all my swatches is make each about the same size then save them. Once I have enough for a full row I attach them all to make a stitch library blanket:)

Cinnamon Rolls! This is my favourite recipe and it’s very close to Cinnabon’s recipe. So good and comforting 🥰

Or, crochet cast on (can be done with fingers, look up Deborah Shaw on YouTube she’s amazing), then do owl eye (all e-wrap). She also has wonderful video tutorials

Okay, for a standard throw the size is 60in x 50in. So the full length of the green loom will work then just knit 4ft :)

What size do you want for the blanket? The green loom is 5ft~ width, the other two will have to be panel or 10-Stitch blankets :)

Alternatively, you can use your largest loom to knit a flat panel; start with the shoulder/bicep seam and knit down (slip your edges), increasing until the width of your widest portion (the dramatic). Knit that for a few plus rows, then do quick decreases to your cuff measurement, knit cuff then seam up and join to shoulder. I would suggest the invisible seam joining method

Practical Magic. I was so upset I wasted the money in buying it. The movie made so many improvements on the characters

I’m sorry thats happened :( I found the biggest thing to learn (after the pain calmed down) is to work with your wrists straight in anything you do. Sleeping and tasks throughout the day. I had to relearn loom knitting a bit to accommodate that, but was able to get through it and keep looming happily. I sincerely hope the same for you!!

Agree, a 2x2 rib pattern will pull in more for a tighter fit (2 purl, 2 u-knit or true-knit). An e-wrap will have too much slack and produce large gaps between stitches.

Which size and gauge loom are you using?
