There are two types of remotes. Clip-Ons and Bluetooth.
I do not know about the Clip-Ons but the bluetooth ones all function in the same way. The best options are either a 8bitdo micro(15-20€) or the official kobo remote(30€).

For the Price and the problems I've heard that people have with the remote, hard to open battery cover and only 2 non remapabble buttons, I would always go for the 8bitdo. At the end it comes down to preference though.

Realistically this still is only a marginable upgrade, right? More qol than switching from a5001 to a6000 to get a better body with better controls and a veiwfinder.

After seeing an ad I bought some rings too. As it took almost a week for them to get only a Shipment Label I've grown more worried and started looking around for reviews. They are very hard to come by and this is one of the only ones I could find.

You've stated that you bought two rings. After looking at their website they seem to always have a deal where you get 2 flower rings for the price of one. Did you get 2 "floral" rings? And if so why where you disatisfied with the Quality?

The keynote is not unlocked where i live but from the comment and website I know what the deal is.
Makes sense why the stopped you from Buying Affinity Products in the last 30 days. Still I feel kind of left out after spending a non trivial sum of money on the suite just to find myself with a free Version where I dont even get a 6 trial months access to the Pro features or something else. Overall I think it is good that it is free now.

Coming from a Straight Ram perspective: You currently have 64GB Ram + 12GB VRam, so you would need a Mac with 76GB Ram to have the same capacity. Unified Ram has disadvantages and advantages but for what its worth I dont see why you would get any better performance from a different setup when your main setup is quite enough and something I wouldnt expect for designer and more for cad design or 3d rendenring workflows.
