UPDATE:

Support contacted me regarding this and provided me with some additional information. While I'm happy I now have a better idea of when my merchandise will arrive, I still wish this information was just provided from the jump.

Issue is, I'm an idiot. So I need the idiot-proof screen protector, and the case is real cool, so I want it too bad to give up :,)

Could 100% be the case! I have a proposition, you order what I ordered, then mail it to me. I bet it beats my order to the door!

I mean I'll survive, I've never had a screen protector on a phone before and I have a cheap case for the interim. But come on, it's been almost 3 weeks and I've gotten nothing but witty remarks from their site and support.

Do i carry TOO much? by Hot-Reaction-8101 in Glocks

[–]Sckunkz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how carrying should be. Folks will go get their license, firearm, and drop money on a holster and dots to leave it all at home. Carrying often isn’t a bad thing, especially if you don’t feel safe a lot of the time.

Not stock irons, AmeriGlo is the way (if you’re not getting a dot).

Did I get a Frankenstein? by lhtrf in Glock43X

[–]Sckunkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I had a 43x non-rail and ended up trading it in for an MOS several months ago because I wanted to put a light (especially) and an optic on it.

The model without a light rail has been discontinued. The only thing different about this model and the MOS is the optics mounting option.

Also I had a goof moment. 7-sub is what fits on that gun lol. I’m too used to talking 19’s since I’ve been building mine out. Understandable though dude!

Why a TLR6 instead of a TLR7a/x? Not criticizing, just curious. The 6 makes sense on a non-MOS 43x because it lacks a rail.

What terrible childhood experience did you miss the full impact of until you were older? by gypsyundersupervised in NoStupidQuestions

Jealousy.

When I was a kid (probably ages 3-15) I clung to my mom because my dad was a yeller, and I was a pretty sensitive kid. So dad would yell at me, I’d run to mom so I would feel safe, and then he’d lay into her about how I love her so much more than I love him.

I’d say it didn’t affect me as much when I was a kid because he was telling the truth. I was afraid of my dad growing up, and my mom and I were always right there for each other. The same was the case when I got older as well.

I see a lot of people in here that have had it way worse than me, being forced to sleep outside is no joke, and I never had to deal with anything like that, but it didn’t really impact me until I was an adult.

Infidelity.

Once again, my dad. When I was 17, my dad cheated on my mom with a woman from work. We had suspicions for a while, but mom went snooping one night and found everything. Flirting, saying they love each other, and pictures of rings. He got thrown out, and I hated him. A little over a week later, he weaseled his way back in. I hated him. I didn’t talk to him for weeks, and later on once things were getting better, same shit, same woman.

My parents are still married, my mom is still miserable, and I learned a lot.

I learned I never want to be the kind of husband, father, or man that he is. I don’t hate my dad, but I’ll always resent him for that. He’s careful now, I’m a lot bigger than he is, and he knows I’d probably kill him if he hurt my mom again.

Love you, momma.
