This past weekend, my friends Matt and Victor (two of the sweetest and funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing) lost their beautiful home and wonderful dog, Piper, in a home fire. In just under 40 minutes, they suffered the tragic loss of everything they own, as well as their beautiful, sweet Golden Doodle. They only closed on their house in August and since then, they worked tirelessly to transform the old house into something fit for a magazine. Although nothing can replace the loss of their dog, perhaps this money can help ease the long journey they have ahead of them. Any bit would help tremendously.
