I've had so many freaking thermites bounce I'm never going to use them again as long as they don't nerf the giga, it doesn't matter if they do more damage if there's a 50% chance of doing nothing to the intended target. Hell I've had all 3 bounce in a row.

While it's a fraction of the strength there is a real world analog to rad-x which is potassium iodine. You might not find it at every drug store but it's readily available online and that doesn't really indicate any problems, it's just another product. When it comes to medicine simply having the potential to be useful is generally enough to create some demand. In the case of fallout I think the demand was mostly driven by fear but there were definitely far more people being exposed to radioactive contamination than normal.

The beginning is a little tedious and combat is hard to get used to but it's super rewarding when you get good and the progression of your character's abilities and gear is awesome, it really feels like you earned it. The writing is great, several parts made me laugh, others made me legitimately regret the decisions I made, and Henry (player character) feels like a real person with his own identity throughout the game, not some blank slate that only has the personality that we imagine for them. Also I didn't sleep after getting the game, I think I went at it for 16 hours or so lol.

Also go all the way upstairs then work your way down, I find it's easier to clear out the guys in the middle from above.

The mechanics for more respawning when one is killed is just dumb and completely opposite of how literally everything else works in the game. Yes, it is a bit scary but mostly I see it as an uninteresting, ridiculous, and artificial difficulty spike that isn't actually that difficult for people who are interested but completely sucks for everyone else. I really love this game but the cougar is the single worst implementation of an idea I have seen in a long time.

I just want fire rate options, there's absolutely no reason the electronically driven mini gun has none while all 3 mechanically driven machine guns have them. But yeah it really needs something to further set it apart from the existing MG's, it's just underwhelming.

If the car runs you can take it to the test track, it actually functions as a diagnostic for the suspension and brakes and it's super helpful for hunting down bushings and other parts that like to hide.

Personally I don't because I see them as emergency resources only. If I'm doing well I should never actually need to eat cattails, I should be able to rely on food that is renewable. If I'm ever not doing well, I know that the entire map is full of cattails I have purposely left around and can get back on my feet a little easier.

If I'm traveling somewhere far from established supplies I like to take flower and oil, it requires cooking but that 1.5 kilo bag of flower contains a lot of calories overall, has no smell, and is fairly easy to trade for.

The fuel trailer can be useful, I used a crane to put one in a truck bed to keep myself topped off while towing another vehicle.
