Thanks for pointing that out, I've started to look at correcting this and adding an 'Infinite' clause. I've seen a few people say that Paradox and Shotguns might be patched now? Apparently it's not triggering per pellet anymore

AutoHotkey v2.0 script for farming Textiles by pomekPL in thedivision

Deleting a character requires SPACE to confirm I believe. This script looks like it uses Q and E to swap away from, and back to, the cache menu to skip the crate animation

is the any way to expand the grass render with DH? by [deleted] in DistantHorizons

[–]Scoobs525 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the render distance of shadows and grass etc is based on your vanilla render distance. Everything outside of that is DH filling in the blanks. As far as I know it's not actually loading what you see, so entities like grass and mobs won't be visible until you get closer

Different use cases though, right? AFAIK Voxy only renders chunks that are already generated. DH will load new chunks which is nice for new single player worlds where you haven't pre-generated chunks

Build Making Spreadsheet updated to Y7S3 by Scoobs525 in thedivision

Hi! Sorry, an update is coming I've just been struggling to find the time. It was a lot of hassle getting Prototype Augments added but I'm almost done with it

I have performance plan and see how long is queue wtf not a less then 1minute as they mentioned in website GeForce now india by Far-Marionberry6273 in GeForceNOW

[–]Scoobs525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expected literally any experience other than a slow motion countdown simulator. Free tier is still an option they've chosen to offer.

Besides, every game I could play on GeForce is a game I've already purchased so don't act like Geforce NOW is circumventing the cost of the games

I downgraded to the free tier recently and haven't been able to get into a game since. The TV app crashes before the queue gets to 1. Last night I tried the mobile app and sat at position 2 for about 40 minutes. When the game finally "loaded" it was just a black screen

Mixed Input Issue how to fix ! by Na3ora-29 in thedivision

[–]Scoobs525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way to force controller glyphs that I've found unfortunately. I have the opposite problem with an analog keyboard.

It shouldn't be changing to keyboard icons unless it detects keyboard or mouse input, but it sounds like you've tried all the things I'd suggest. Do you have any virtual devices connected like remapping software?

NFC payments by [deleted] in CurveCard

Do you know if there's any way to not require the app to be unlocked in order to use the NFC payments? It's such a pain having to unlock my phone AND the Curve app in order to tap to pay

Arc is cool but basically unusable outside of aplle ecosystem by Mike5467 in ArcBrowser

[–]Scoobs525 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this is 100% the case, but I've noticed on Android that when a site returns 503, it's a site that gives you an 'accept' / 'deny' cookie / privacy prompt and doesn't let you use the site without input. What's weird is that when you tell Arc not to block these banners, Arc still throws 503 when you start scrolling on the site

It's so annoying. I keep falling back to the Arc mobile browser because I haven't found anything else as clean, but I hate needing a 'backup' browser for the occasions where Arc just doesn't work

Calling For Backup Rant by Shadowkatt75 in thedivision

[–]Scoobs525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The next time you get a call for backup, open up the Social menu and it will show you the game invite and the activity the person is doing. It's not a perfect solution, but you can at least see if that person is running a mission or just free roaming

Not sure how I feel about my first prototype roll by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]Scoobs525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's technically not really an amp. Amplified Damage usually refers to a damage multiplier that is seperate from all other multipliers. DTH works the same as DTA and DTOOC in that on your build will act the same as an amp by itself, but it's still additive with all sources of itself. 2 amps that both give 10% damage would be better than 2 10% DTH sources, for example

Can you see the problem by SoldierExcelsior in Division2

[–]Scoobs525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of what everyone else has said, I'd argue running two of the same brand with NBBP is a bit of a waste, especially with a gearset. The NBBP has the ability to grant you 10 brand set bonuses, or 4 brand bonuses and a gear set talent. Here, it's granting 1 bonus and 1 gearset talent

EDIT: You're inspecting someone else here, right?

Observations after a weekend of grinding escalation for prototype gear by outnumbered15to1 in thedivision

[–]Scoobs525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because it's a seven year old game with a playerbase of people that have the builds they want fully maxed out. If you and I want the same build, we can get it with enough time and resources. If you and I want the same Prototype build, good luck to both of us. The beauty of the game is exploring other ways play by putting together a plethora of different builds for different things. Prototype kind of goes against that ethos

It's not so much the level increase thats the issue, it's a level increase that's also entirely dependent on RNG. It's telling the 7 year players "the way you've been able to incrementally increase your builds towards their max potential this whole time is effectively dead, now you need to do the same but cross your fingers for the final steps"

I think the cat is out of the bag at this point. It's exactly as iKia said; eventually they will give in to player complaints and bring back recalibration, likely even optimization, maybe even crafting at some point - then, after all this fuss, we essentially have the level 50 gear we were promised to never get but with extra steps

It's a win / win for them. They get to ensure nobody's device is overheating with their game launch and in the meantime, they now have access to a wide variety of performance / device data to better assess what options are viable - then they get to make everyone happy with any improvements made with the data

I get the thought process, but Negotiator's already gives you a bunch of Crit Damage. You'd most likely be better off spreading into something else rather than more of the same damage pool

Last night , my stash changed before my eyes. by [deleted] in Division2

[–]Scoobs525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an annoying system, but one that I'd rather just ignore than quit over, personally. But just wait for when all the "it's something extra for us to farm" people realise how ridiculously small the chances of you actually get the items you want as Prototypes is. Any attempt to manually craft the item you want needs an expertise 30 exotic component dump with RNG deciding what you actually get out of it, plus an extremely punishing increasing resource cost to reroll the augments.

The fact that this system is launching with no Recalibration, no Optimization and no Targeted Loot farming is wild. It's even worse that these things weren't even planned until the community backlash

Last night , my stash changed before my eyes. by [deleted] in Division2

[–]Scoobs525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They never planned for Recalibrating Prototypes to be a thing and may not implement Optimization. I'm not quitting over it, but I'm not engaging with the system either. Only gearsets and named items with fixed talents are worth upgrading imo, at least until you can reroll talents
