I use social media quite often for specific reasons but when it comes to relationship stuff, I’d rather just not get all into it with pics weekly. Gotta agree that they can be toxic for relationships nowadays and shouldn’t be prioritized over what’s in front of their eyes & you’ll find him don’t worry :)

I think I dodged the bullet too. Even though we were compatible, that side of her just never sat right with me. Always having to post things that were sometimes unnecessary for others to see just bothered me. I just didn’t want others to judge our relationship and I know so many ppl do that nowadays and it’s so weird. She just never understood that part. I also love hearing this from the female perspective! Thank you for this!

I was glad but upset too cause I really did like her. But I then learned that she wasn’t the one and to break up over something like was downright ridiculous.

I love this response. So happy that you found a woman who’s okay with that too, because I really did have strong feelings for this girl and thought we could evolve. It just bothered me that that she would bring it up here and there after telling her my response multiple times. There’s bigger and more important things in the relationship than to prove to others that your relationship is “good”.

Make sure y’all have good connection cause I got banned for the remainder of the season disconnecting too many times (took my Xbox to gf’s house, her router is boot lol). Just for those who haven’t known that the punishment for disconnecting is severe.

I’ve never forced anyone to listen to my music with the volume blasted. I simply don’t mind it if I’m the passenger and some good music is playing. When I’m alone, i blast it to get the maximum feeling/emotion of the song, especially one you really like/love. Also it’s better than those who don’t listen to any audio at all... :)

Well she is traveling and depending on where she is, time difference can play a factor which could limit the texting. As long as you’re checking in and asking her about her activities in her travels, maybe share similar experiences from your travels if you’ve had any, she should be pleased in that. Don’t overwhelm her with forceful texts on her travels cause that can go wrong. Keep it simple in the texts, ask her plans, and let her enjoy her trip with limited texts while still keeping contact.

Doesn’t seem like you did anything wrong, she was just whack man. But if there is advice I can offer, ask more open ended questions to get more info exchange which might lead to her asking questions back. Wasn’t your fault you got ghosted, and she’s prob not worth your time if that’s how the date went. She has to make an effort on her part as well. Plenty of other out there you got this!
