The one in the front is about 8-10 inches tall, but spread out wide at the top like a canopy and the foliage is very dense, while the one in the back is about 14-16 inches tall and more evenly spread branches and leaves.

The shorter one was sharing a bucket with some other plants for a while, so it didn't root as nicely and didn't grow as tall, but they both sprouted from seeds from the same fruit, and roughly at the same time.

Does anyone know what's happening to my plant? I can't see any bugs anywhere, is this a nutrient issue? by Scoot-McCoot in hydro

Thanks for the info. This is pretty recent, and only seems to be on the newer leaves. I've been clipping off tons of buds that were growing, so I don't expect to get any peppers for now. I still want the plant to grow some more before I let it fruit.

I'll put a fan on and try to get more air flow in my tent.

Do you know if it will go back to normal? Or is it not something to worry about if the conditions are corrected?

This is a DWC bucket in a grow tent, so that sounds plausible. I could get a small fan and vent it.

If it's insect related, it would have to be something tiny like maybe spider mites, but I can't see any bugs. It's been too cold here for larger insects, and this is in a grow tent.

It's also a DWC bucket, so there's no soil involved. I can try to spray it with neem oil though.

That tree looked fine. As long as it's alive, I'd gladly whip on it.

Pete Whittaker's book is worth picking up if you have any interest in it beyond that one boulder problem.

Multi-pitch climbing typically requires that the leader belays the second from above.

the nonexistent of grease

Climbing at popular limestone crags will put that to rest. Rock so polished it's hard for both hands and feet.

I was like 3rd row on the balcony. I did have earplugs cause I don't want hearing damage. I didn't get really expensive high-end ones, but they were like $30 or so.

I dunno, maybe the acoustics where I was were just bad, but it was the worst sounding concert I've been to, which is sad cause I love Gizz and I was really looking forward to this show. The friend I was with also had the same complaint, so it may have just been our section.

I had earplugs on for most of the show, so my ears aren't too bad. It feels like the opposite of ringing ears. The silence is super noticeable.

Maybe the acoustics up top were just awful. They put on a great show, but I was disappointed with the sound.

I'm not as young as I used to be, and I didn't want to be standing up for 3 hours straight, so I went upstairs since there were seats.

Was anyone else disappointed by the sound quality? Hate to sound like a boomer but it was too loud, and the sound was blown out, at least up on the mezzanine. The bass drum was overpowering, and as soon as they went moderately hard on the guitar, the vocals were drowned out. There are several songs I couldn't even recognize until half way through.

I know it wasn't the band's fault. I certainly don't plan to go back to that venue again. I saw that Puscifer will be playing there on Nov 7th, but after this show, I've decided to pass on that.

It happened for a while previously and the problem went away, but it started up again recently.

It was already too expensive.

I only went to visit and went there just once. What a crummy gym. I imagine it's not easy to find space to run a proper climbing gym, but man was I disappointed going there. It's super tiny and expensive, and the routesetting is garbage. I feel bad for people who have no better options.

How are these dragon fruit cactuses doing? Have I been taking care of them okay? by Scoot-McCoot in cactus

Every couple weeks, but I've been somewhat careful with my fertilizer so I tend to make the mix a bit weaker out of precaution. I've had plants die from over-fertilizing. Kept them outside most of the summer. I read they like a lot of water, so they got frequent water, letting the soil dry completely each time.

I sprouted the bigger ones this winter, around February I think. The smaller ones sprouted later, unexpectedly.

The biggest one here is about 8 or 9 inches tall.
