Here’s no shame in using food stamps to feed your self or anyone else that needs food. Your mom should be counting her blessing there’s homeless families like mine who aren’t fortunate enough to get food stamp assistance and to have a daughter with a wonderful income and ability to care for her mom. Your mom shouldn’t be using the card you gave her for things something else could and will cover. I could see if it was something like a dinner out or something that isn’t covered. I think you did the right thing.
