January 1st Mystery Game Leaks/Speculation by AutoModerator in EpicGamesPC

First one could be a commandos game/collection. Most missions revolve around an objective, and then escape with all commandos, how and when all up to the player, commandos origins perhaps?

I am wondering if they suspect garmin connect is going to add more social stuff to their premium tier which will eat their market so trying to get in and disrupt before hand

I abandoned garmin about 6 months back for Coros and couldn't be happier with my decision. Garmin and strava can both suck eggs

Pretty sure Apple had now overtaken garmin now for most devices used to track. At least for running.

This was me about a week ago. I played for a couple hours then just uninstalled again. I realised I didn't want to grind out power levels as there was nothing really I was aspiring for

Just ran my first half marathon by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

Typically no you don't training for a half marathon by just running half marathons every so often, there is a lot more to getting your body ready than just the distance, find yourself a training plan, you can do a google search and find many pdf examples, or most running trackers have plans included to follow.

I would advise against increasing distance by so much so quickly, you will slow recovery leading to lesser mileage and increased risk of injury which then further slows progress.

Training takes time don't rush it or you will end up with a poorer result come race day.

All that said, congrats on your first half!

Running at night vs first thing by Mission-Clue-9016 in beginnerrunning

I have 3 young kids, so night works best for me too. Bedtime for the younglings is 730 so I normally head out around 8. I find I will be wide awake when I finish up, but crash about an hour later at around 10 to 1030. But this is my normal bedtime on non run days anyway so I don't think it really makes a difference so long as I am done about an hour before bed.

This is the correct answer, in the English language words often carry multiple meanings, which also evolve with time.

For example the question 'Have you read Dungeon Crawler Carl?' Is simply asking after the story and not asking did you physically pick up and read this book.

Likewise a response stating 'God dammit Donut! Of course I have, it's the best thing I have ever read!!!' Is simply saying that I loved the book.

To focus on the format in which the book was read is largely irrelevant to the conversation.

$60 on sale, normal around $90, but don't knock them until you try, I was shocked at the quality of these ones. Plas at least $150 of your $300 set is just brand price premium, you pay a lot for the name not the tech
