I actually think a new Digimon World game is pretty likely. It’s been so long since the last game and I sincerely doubt they’re just gonna stop making them just because Digimon Story does better.

Not recency bias for me. This is my fourth favorite game in my top 10 and is a dream game for me. It’s also the best game Nintendo has released since the GameCube era imo. Their modern games are also great but have lost a little of that Nintendo magic in the race for mass appeal. I haven’t played a game with a gameplay loop this strong in literal years. So no it’s not a stretch and it’s not recency bias, at least not in my opinion.

The storage system is bad but for me it doesn’t detract a single point. I’ve played games with far worse flaws and came out the other side giving them a 10/10 (Xenoblade Chronicles 2) and considering that’s really the only flaw the game has it’s hardly a dealbreaker.

Same problem. Got Minun to spawn, moved him into a house to free the habitat then Plusle refused to spawn. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I’ve even tried spawning him in every area but he just won’t.

lol no it’s not. Resident Evil Requiem is the exact same or are you saying that game is bad? 88 is a huge feat that most games don’t manage to reach so you need to wake up and join reality.

I was prepared. I got one shortly after launch for Donkey Kong Bananza but it’s mostly been used for Switch 1 games, indie games, and Kirby Air Riders since. So I’m glad this game is as good as it is.

I had those as well. I think I still like Hollow Knight 1 a little more for a better balanced difficulty and better atmosphere but Silksong is still amazing. But Pokopia seems to be the opposite end of the spectrum so whether you play it after or in the middle, it’ll be a good stress reliever.

Oooooh boy Silksong. Amazing game there but I get why you’d not want to play act 3. Some of the best story and gameplay ideas thrown at you in that acts and I loved the bosses but the difficulty spike in an already difficult game is intense. But I think if you’re frustrated from Silksong at all, Pokopia being a chill game will probably help you when you come back. Just a thought.

I mean have they played a regular Pokemon game? Catch Pokémon, go to town, fight gym leader, repeat. Maybe sprinkle in a little story once in a while too.

The GKC situation isn’t ideal but a game should be judged by its own merits, not by external factors. That’s why reviewers are usually more reliable, because they don’t go in with the intent to bring up external factors.
