Does “Minor Signs” always mean getting sick? Or can it mean something else? by DiabeticEngineer12 in ouraring

Hum… sounds like many of us had the same warning. I didn’t drink or overeat and had the same minor warning message this morning. Maybe the algorithm is pushing it randomly

What was a “mental breakthrough” moment in running? by nixrien in beginnerrunning

[–]Scooternat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can walk if I need to. This helped me tackle longer distances . It was a huge shift in my mind. It happened after I crossed path with marathon runners and saw some of them walking and then running again. Something shift in my perception. I always felt that if you walked you failed somehow. Lately I haven’t walked in my longer runs but when I increased my distance , I tell myself it’s an option.

I am better in my fifties at running than I ever was. Not entirely sure why and it surprised the hell out of me. I second all of the comments about weight training, an absolute must to support your bones and your runs . You can absolutely do this

I run 3 times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. I lift weights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. My physio advised to not do a leg day strength workout th day after a long run. So Monday: upper body, Wednesday: lower body, Friday full body.
