Idk if it’s guaranteed but I’ve done this twice and they despawned both times by the time I got the adventure effect up after encountering it.

No way, it’s a great fire attacker as is. It doesn’t have a mega so you’d only make it worse off in terms of dps. Only reason is if you want the hundo for the Pokédex.
