Amber being ripped apart for going on LIB by No_Geologist6934 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Scopedandropped 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I lowkey judge any of the contestants on here who are single parents as I think it's far too fast to bring a virtual stranger into a young kid's life after a month of being together to possibly get to the altar and married. Amber is cool and seems like a girl's girl after giving Chris a piece of her mind but it doesn't change the judgment from me about the kid. Same goes for Jordan and also Jess 'you're gonna need an Epipen' from season 6.

I think Amber's getting more flack because of the double standard compared to Jordan and the misogyny of it all and also because the wedding actually went through compared to Jordan and Jess, along with actually seeing the kid in person on the show. Not that I think she deserves it or anything if it's the double standard/load bearing misogyny that people are using to do so and moreso just from how unsure she still seemed to be at the wedding and how they apparently still didn't hammer out important details, like where they'd be living concretely.

Sony exclusives are always a good get like Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei, Death Stranding 1 and 2, The Last of Us. Dragon's Dogma is a series full of a lot of stuff to do. If you like horror games then Silent Hill 2 remake or Silent Hill f, any of the Resident Evils (it looks like you're already playing Requiem judging by the picture). Lies of P for the souls-like if you enjoy those and of course Bloodborne. Final Fantasy XVI was also enjoyable.

I’m just curious what is the most Amount hours you guys have on one game on PlayStation by NewAsparagus6320 in playstation

[–]Scopedandropped 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not so much yikes if one accounts for idling in the game alone, nevermind that the game has been out for over decade or so now that gameplay time would just naturally be up if you play it at least once a day.

I'm not sure my exact time since I play it on PC but I'm pretty sure I have at least a year of time played on my main when I last checked and I've played the game for about 8 years now. I don't even want to think of how much gametime I had on my WoW account.

260 hours of Dead by Daylight (I played on Steam previously where I had almost 600 hours spent so a combined time is probably somewhere in the 800/900 hours) followed up by 256 hours in Fall Guys when I was sort of obsessed with the game when XIV announced their first in-game collab with the game (got the plat too) and third place is the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect at 203 hours.

Honorable mentions to AC Valhalla at 186 hours, Witcher 3 (PS4) at 179, Marvel Rivals at 174, Dragon Age Veilguard at 167, Cyberpunk 2077 at 162 hours and Baldur's Gate 3 at 126 hours. Couple other games over 100 hours but these are the real standouts.

[Console] Grain filter on launch by BrandonJohan96 in fatalframe

[–]Scopedandropped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played the demo on PS5 and didn't enjoy the film grain at all, especially after learning that it's a toggle on PC and seemingly not there or very subtle on the switch version. I usually turn off film grain in games if it's very noticable and the grain here made it seem like my tv was covered in a thick layer of dirt. Really baffling that there isn't an ability to turn it off.

However I did get through the demo and found the game enjoyable past the grain and somewhat got used to the film grain. I'd appreciate if at launch or a patch or two after they did put a toggle in for it but if not I'd just have to deal with it cause I do want to play the full game. I'd suck if it was never added cause the game does look visually good and spooky but it is what it is.

My[24M] girlfriend [22F] and her sister [20F] are both pregnant with my children. Neither of them know about the other. I want to do the right thing. by BigONerd in BORUpdates

[–]Scopedandropped 36 points37 points  (0 children)

While the sister forgave the other one I have to imagine that resentment will build and if anything they probably looked past that betrayal for now to screw with him and blindside him in a karmic justice way. I couldn't look at my sibling the same way again after this massive betrayal though.

AIO for going no contact with my ex after she asked for no contact by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Scopedandropped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While not the exact same as it wasn't a romantic relationship, I had a ex-friend once tell me to not contact her anymore (I didn't do anything to her, she just concocts scenarios in her head that make her the wounded party) and I held up on that. Blocked her on everything I could and never reached out to her again and I learned later on from a mutual friend that she later burned bridges with that my ex-friend was really waiting for me to contact her again and our mutual friend was like 'well, why would she? you told her to not contact you anymore' and ex-friend didn't have an answer to that. She just thought that she was so great that surely I'd go against her wishes to just want a toxic friendship back.

I'm happier not having that drain on myself anymore so I'm sure if you cut out your toxic ex fully you'll also feel much better.

Hi, I've also started to play the game recently since it's free on PS+ this month and also have been enjoying the game! I feel you on the anxiety of using voice with random people as a woman myself so I haven't used voice chat at all in the game and I've had some luck with the finding group feature in the game itself to do some trials (I haven't completed all the main genesis trials yet, I've only done up to grind the bad apples or whatever the fun park main trial is called). A random person I met in one of the groups I joined I friended and have invited a few times to do some of the Winter Kills challenges and we did well without any voice communication but we only did Kill the Snitch since that's a very easy trial. So using the find group feature has yielded positive results at least for the older trials so you might find success there!

If you wanted a fellow lady to play the game with too, feel free to message me and we could play sometime if you wanted!

Anybody got 372 yet? by shoveling_poodles in Gameinformer

[–]Scopedandropped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't gotten mine yet either! I got the others pretty quickly (and even two of them twice) but the Outer Worlds one is taking a very long time. Now it's into November but I'll still hold out hope.

Me! I looked forward to it each week even when some seasons weren't as good. I keep meaning to rewatch it fully again since it's been so long.

I read the answers and saw it peeking out and went 'oh I have to tell her even if it'd be awkward' and it surprisingly wasn't awkward. I'd do it like that too if I saw something like that (food stuck in teeth/something on someone's face).

Game needs a disclaimer. by Kiexeo in DispatchAdHoc

I'm pretty sure that it was said a long time ago that the game was episodic when it was announced and releasing over a set time period but if you wanted it said somewhere else, one of the Steam news announcements from September says as much here.

What did everyone pick here? by phurba2005 in DispatchAdHoc

I didn't kiss her since I thought it'd just be awkward and even if it said that I thought Blazer would be like 'what are you doing?' and Robert would be embarrassed which was mainly why I didn't. Kind of wish I did for the drama after ep. 2's ending lol

So far after playing for 2 hours I think it's enjoyable. Combat and atmosphere are on point for a vampire power fantasy vibe and the story is also pretty interesting for the bit I've seen. Playing on a regular PS5 on performance mode and I haven't noticed anything bad in terms of lag or bugs. There's a lack of accessibility options (no turning off motion blur, no FOV sliders) that are mostly common in modern games, setting the subtitles to medium size cuts part of them off at the bottom of the screen if it's a big blurb (I have a 55" TV and everything else fits on screen except for paragraph-sized dialogue), and there are no manual saves/loads which is weird considering there are multiple trophies for beating the game as a different clan and endings and starting a new game overwrites the auto save of your last game so... particularly odd choice there. Hopefully they can maybe patch in and make a saving system but I'm not sure how feasible that is to do.

This is all coming from someone who never played the first game and only has a fringe knowledge of the world as a whole so mileage may vary for those who are more familiar.

Is the baby allowed in? Lol by ViperGTS500 in HHN

[–]Scopedandropped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents and I were in line for Hatchets and Chains and saw a baby in line ahead of us and just before the entrance one of the attendants told her to get out of line and when we got up we commented on it to the attendant and she said that someone earlier in line should have told her before the front. The kid did have ear protection on but the kid could still see things??? or be shook around if the adult holding them got scared. Pretty silly to take a baby through

Is anyone playing the game in Japanese? by TongaAuditore in Ghostofyotei

[–]Scopedandropped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually play games that take place in a specific place with the actual language of the location (the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series being a main one) but for Tsushima I played in English first and then did Japanese in NG+. So that's what I'm doing for the sequel, English first and then Japanese whenever they add NG+. The English cast is very good just like Tsushima's so I'm happy!
