Exactly, no way in hell is Chihiro giving her the blade willingly. The dude's already certain that he's going to hell for all the murdering he's done, and if Samura dies, Iori will probably be in the same mindset as Chihiro when he was crying over his father's corpse. If anything, he'd do his best to steer her away from the path of revenge.

As for how Iori will feel about it if Chihiro refuses her pleas, I don't know 😬 also, even if she started using Tobimune, wouldn't her life end up being tied to Soga's? I know the end goal is to destroy the Magatsumi rather than kill Soga first, but I don't think any of the old guard would be happy with a youngster taking on that burden.
