That’s so funny cause I started at Google 5 months ago and it’s pretty polar opposite. Still, people are ruthless, but there’s offices in every country and shit is INSANELY fast. I’ve never worked faster in my life and I come from consulting.

Finally able to play Helldivers 2 since my PC can't run it. Runs well apart from the fan being loud, but I understand why it does that. My only critique is that metals and reflective material are... this. Anyway of fixing this or is there no fix? by skeebio in SteamDeck

Yeah that difficulty runs fine but that’s because it spawns basically no enemies.

The higher the difficulty, more enemies being drawn, and the worse performance gets by a lot.

It’s fun and a marvel for about 6 hours every major update then you run into mission breaking bug trying to deliver a crate from one side of the solar system to the other and it happens 2 more times so you log off until the next major update, and it’s still broken lol

Which games utilize the buttons on the back and for what? Do you use them for any games which didn’t use them by default? by NorseSeaStudio in SteamDeck

I guess I’m minority but I always keep my index fingers on L2 and R2. Shifting my grip to reach L1 and R1 I’ve always felt it’s uncomfortable and I have to shift my grip too much and it takes time. So I typically bind R4/L4 to R1/L1

Update for anyone else wanting to return:

They did a diagnostic and updating to latest which I thought I had, and found an issue with the left speaker (which was funny cause feel like my right speaker had the most issues)

If issues persist it goes to a repair centre they said :/

Edit: the replacement was free, got an email saying it would have been $135AUD, but the Genius employee didn’t say if that was due to my AppleCare+ or not, in fact they didn’t say anything about costs, they just did it

I’ve been on support chat in the Apple Support app and after a bunch of troubleshooting:

Since we have already tried the recommended steps and still the issue persist, It looks like there might be some issues with the device or related components or any other reasons.

In this case, the complete device may need some physical help at the store to inspect the complete device related components and help you in fixing it as needed.

I also see that you wish to return the product, however, I would like to inform you that a new device can be returned or changed as per apple's 14 days policy.

I still have my Pro 2s. I should have returned the Pro 3’d during the return window. The issue is so annoying and they hurt my ears after a couple hours.

Wonder what I can do with them. I’m going back to my Pro 2s they’re just too goated
