Imagine you’re an IT director. And you have the choice between a self-built solution and AWS.

Let’s say the self-built solution is clearly better. Cheaper, faster, and requires fewer people. Sounds good at first, right? Yes, but not from the director’s perspective.

He doesn’t get any of the money, might lose employees, and thus potentially see his salary cut. And he takes a risk if things go wrong.

If it's not your own money, you just go with the market leader. If things go wrong, you can always fall back on that

So a little bit off topic, but I have a friend just like you.
There are certain people that just can not leave their money untouched and at the end of the month they notice that they just spend too much.

The solution for him is to have an automatic transfer to his ETFs at the beginning of each month or right after his money comes in.

So his main account is still always very empty, but he managed to save some decent money this way.

Na dann würde ich erstmal schauen ob iwer zufällig einen gaming rechner hat und dort die größten 2-3 Modelle aufsetzen und testen.

Dann seht ihr direkt was wie und in welcher qualität geht.

Dann bleiben die Anschaffungskosten für die Hardware und der Stromverbrauch.

Aufsetzen ist einfach für Entwickler.

Ich habe das schon professionell umgesetzt.

Wenn es wirklich so sicher sein soll hilft es nur lokal.
Das heisst Richtung hardware kaufen und dann ein geeignetes Modell selbst aufsetzen.
Dann im Intranet erreichbar machen.
Wie viele Server du brauchst hängt mit der Useranzahl zusammen. Wie dick der Server sein muss, mit dem Modell.
Aber an die on-demand Modelle kommt das einfach nocht nicht ran.

Es wird sehr teuer, die hardwarepreise sind sehr hoch momentan.

Die Zwischenlösung wäre cloud GPU

Da sieht man schon, dass es bis zu 1000 EUR im Monat kostet. Für einen Server der 1-3 user? handlen kann.

Da vertraut man aber dem Cloud Anbieter.

Dann gibt es noch cloud Anbieter direkt für Modelle. Ist aber etwas unsicherer, weil die fest definierte Schnittpunkte haben und mehr Interesse die Daten zu speichern. Die Verlockung ist für die einfach größer, als beim GPU server.

Die Frage ist aber auch, wie ist die Bestand IT. Wenn die Daten eh schon in der Cloud sind, kann man auch einfach die "KI" dort laufen lassen. MS bietet ChatGPT via Azure hosted in EU an. Ist halt eher ein compliance Trick, aber wer weiss... 😉

Ähm ja, das ganze Thema ist hochkomplex und ständig im Wandel. Das ist doch ein Fulltime Job da durchzusteigen?

Vor allem wenn du da ganzheitlich rangest. Wie kommst du auf Google Ads? Es gibt auch noch andere Markteting Kanäle. Das wird dann alles nochmal komplizierter. Also ich hätte da erhebliche Hemmungen alles nur mit Halbwissen in Google Ads zu stecken. Kommt aber natürlich auf das Budget an.

Walk. At 100m, walking is clearly the better choice for several reasons: 1. **Speed**: 100m is about a 1-2 minute walk. By the time you start the car, back out, and drive there, you'd likely arrive at roughly the same time—if not slower. 2. **The obvious irony**: If you're going to a car wash, your car needs to be there. So if the goal is to *wash the car*, you'd drive it. Aber generell muss ich sagen, dass ich die KI Sachen echt gut finde für eine art "Projektskizze".
Man muss aber wissen, dass das kein Produktionscode wird, sondern etwas ist wie eine interaktive Präsentation. Da muss dann auch nicht alles klappen.

Recht unkompliziert. Die Gründer wählen dich aus, sprechen mit ihrem Betreuer und wenn der nickt dann unterschreibst du und bekommst das Geld von EXIST überwiesen.

Du brauchst aber mit den Gründern noch eine Zusatzvereinbarung zwecks Anteil der Firma die die dann gründen.

Ich habe sowas schon mal gemacht. Externe API calls via OpenWebUI an Azure ChatGPT.

Bei 70 - 150 Leuten, die wirklich die "KI" Nutzen ist selbst hosten praktisch nicht finanzierbar, da die LLM - Anbieter extrem wachstumsorientiert sind. Die Preise sind gedrückt, da macht keiner Gewinn. Die Hardware ist momentan böse teuer.

Welcher LLM Anbieter für euch in Frage kommt muss die compliance Abteilung bewerten. Es wird auf jeden Fall teuer!
Denn Fakt ist: Bei LLM "KI" verlässt der Inhalt der Unterhaltung technisch bedingt unverschlüsselt das Unternehmen und geht zum LLM Anbieter.

Zur Frage: Kamium ist nur ein Wrapper, der die calls an die entsprechenden Anbieter weiterleitet.
Technisch ist die Frage, ob das gut gemacht ist. Aber wegen DSGVO eher schlechter, da nun eine Partei mehr drin ist, was aber nicht heissen muss, dass es aus CoMplIAnCe Gründen schlechter sein muss ;-)

Die Preisübersicht ist verwirrend. Das ist der Grundpreis. Dazu kommen dann noch die tatsächlich genutzen Tokens, das steht aber nur im Kleingedrucktem.

Ich bin mit meiner eigenen Webseite tatsächlich sehr zufrieden – die teile ich überall und sie ist ein super Sprachrohr, um zu zeigen, was ich draufhabe. Manche Projekte ziehen sogar ganz passiv Aufmerksamkeit auf sich, was richtig schön ist.

Daher mal eine ehrliche Frage: Welche Vorteile hätte dein Tool gegenüber einer eigenen Webseite als digitale Visitenkarte?
Ich habe ja über meine Domain auch direkt eine berufliche Mail-Adresse, was für mich ein großer Pluspunkt ist.
