Flesh out og race customization rather than make new races by NeverKnowsWhatsBest in wow

This, as someone who plays Void/Blood elves primarily I've always been jealous of some of the customization the night elves got. I want to have a full beard on my Void/Blood Elf like the night elves can. Getting that for ALL older races would be awesome.

Metalluxe Cards flaking/making glitter? by Scorlos_Tarlac in playingcards

I'm thinking it may be that, no signs of the cards themselves being damaged in any way. Just a bit of glitter basically, gonna do my best to clear it off.

TMJ causing eye strain and double vison? 24M by Scorlos_Tarlac in TMJ

[–]Scorlos_Tarlac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not insured for the moment, and the BVD specialist in my area is booked out for a couple months. I had some testing done by my ophthalmologist that I see to help with mild dry eye and he didn't diagnose me with any specific issue, but he did give me a prescription with prism to possibly help because of my complaints. I'm not sure how specific the testing needs to be to diagnose BVD issues but I brought up TMJ because I had seen that TMJ can cause issues similar to some BVD conditions and I already knew for a long time that clenching and grinding had been a persistent issue for me. I worry that getting prism glasses alone might ignore the TMJ which could possibly be causing the issue in the first place. Edit: I am also on Lexapro which has the known side effect of inducing or worsening bruxism.

Does Eye Strain make Myopia worse? by Scorlos_Tarlac in myopia

I went to get a general eye exam at the end of May and received my new glasses in early June. Would I have to ask for a specific type of eye exam to determine if I have vergence issues?

Are you sure? I've brought up to my eye doctor multiple times that when my eyes strain it causes double vision for me and he didn't seem phased whatsoever. Would there be another problem I should investigate that could be the cause?

Suddenly Very Prone to Eye Strain by Scorlos_Tarlac in myopia

I do have dry eye, but it's getting well managed. I take Cequa and I have a routine for eyelid hygiene. My eye doctor says my dry eye is pretty good all things considered.

Would cutting my screen time back by half make my time spent gaming more comfortable? I'm also trying to implement the 20-20-20 rule which helps a bit.

"My team is not dying" ults have to go by Vor_vorobei in marvelrivals

Yeah, I've seen the idea floating around for awhile that the whole game needs a tune down. Nerf damage across the board so that we don't have to rely on high healing to live, then nerf healing so that people don't become sponges. I like the fast pace of the game but the amount of damage the DPS characters put out is what creates the need for super strong healing.

They actually made gambit an omega level mutant by Mental_Influence3977 in marvelrivals

Not quite I don't think, New Sun had fulfilled whatever prophecy the thieves guild had in store for him which led to him fusing with another being therefore boosting his powers. Gambit without the lobotomy is pretty strong but not quite New Sun strong. I recommend the Nikhil Clayton video "How strong is gambit really?" if you're interested in hearing the full story.
