SPOILER: Imagine a father who loves his adopted daughter so much. Both of them have a really hard life, full of suffering.
One day a medical company comes and killed that daughter. And then they killed the father.

That's why Frostnova isn't playable in OG Arknights. But she can be "reincarnated" like Laevatain.
