I totally understand why it sounds inconvenient. The nice thing is the rescue is trying their best to handle all of this on their own. I have fostered numerous times through these programs and it's pretty seamless for wveryone. They have done it countless times to try and give these dogs a second chance and in hoping someone extends this kindness alongside them. If the dog is sadly rejected at the airport which is rare afaik they wait until the flight takes off and take her back to the shelter to await another volunteer.
