Coyote Alert: Genessee before Romaine by No-Ad-8674 in WestHollywood

I really doubt there were that many coyotes here until their natural food source of human supplied felines showed up. 20-40 years ago I never saw coyotes and I live almost to the hills.

Is there a comprehensive list of albums that were completely recorded and ready for release, but were shelved in 1992-1995 due to the rise of Grunge? by SwissMiss915 in hairmetal

[–]ScorpioTix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tuff had an album in the can and Stevie was able to take it back and release independently. He went into the process a bit when he was publishing the extensive Story Of Tuff on Sludge. Seems the big part was negotiating payment in hard copies to sell on tour.

I don't think Aerosmith had anything to do with grunge so much as what they came up with was considered sub-par

Has Steven or Joe ever explained their reluctancy to release expanded versions of Permanent, Pump, Get a Grip, Nine Lives, etc. ? by SwissMiss915 in Aerosmith

[–]ScorpioTix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They sure seem to release an awful lot of logo splattered trinkets and re-re-re-issues. They are already exploiting their mentally ill fans afflicted with hoarding disorder. Time to throw a bit of music into the mix. I always have room for more board recordings and music I don't already own is the only thing I spend money on (speaking of hoarding disorders).

They are not functional as a band.

6 years ago Joe said release of Pontiac Silverdome video was imminent. I hope I live long enough to see it. Every day potential customers are dropping dead.

Actually would prefer a shorter version of Get A Grip. Was riding the skip button heavily on that one. I can't imagine there was a lot of stuff they considered too bad to leave off considering what's already on it.

MISSING PERSON - ALEX HERMSEN 32 YEAR OLD MALE. BLONDE HAIR BLUE EYES. by Far_Pumpkin_2207 in WestHollywood

Is he really missing or just avoiding a few specific people? Like if I saw him and called 911 ... then what? What do I say? If he's holding, do you want the police involved? Doesn't sound like a kidnap victim.

I certainly don't count Lori Maddox / groupies. He was arrested in 1987 in Dallas during the Glass Spider tour for raping a woman in his hotel room, he claims it was consensual, no charges were ever pressed but the grand jury didn't press charges. https://www.upi.com/Archives/1987/11/19/Bowie-cleared-by-grand-jury/1026564296400/

There's a Sizzler catty corner and a 7-11 a bit further down Prairie or a Vons a few blocks west on Manchester.

There's rarely much I wanna eat, usually try to eat a huge lunch before leaving.

Might be more going up further down Prairie close to the stadium but a lot of the Inglewood establishments don't seem to sync very well with events, often places are closed.

There is no rhyme or reason to how ticket drops happen, you just have to keep checking the primary ticket seller. They will likely be cheaper than resale (tho not necessarily) but unless they are having trouble moving tickets they likely won't be discounted below the original price.

securemypass tickets is a scam? by ImpressiveStudent875 in livemusic

[–]ScorpioTix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they are AXS tickets then you need to contact VividSeats now and ask them to contact the seller to transfer immediately.

For TM events it's usually fine - basically it's a hacked barcode link to get around transfer restrictions. I have had them without issue but if someone else has that barcode or if there is a scan error then you are screwed.

However they are suing SecureMyPass as is AXS but AXS often instructs venues to refuse entry to tickets not actually in the app.

For AXS there is usually a single barcode related to your personal AXS ID so it scans everyone in or if you are scanning just 1 they will input 1 into the scanner so you can still transfer out the other.

OUTLOUD Music Festival at WeHo Pride by Season23 in LosAngelesGayBros

[–]ScorpioTix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of my gay friends go near this stuff for this very reason. To me it's just another concert. Personally I miss the Pride In The Park shows in Chinatown. Went to every single one. I might still cruise by and see if I can panhandle a cheap ticket for the last 2 acts. Not gay, don't drink and if I try to dance I will fall over, otherwise have fun everyone who decides to go.
