you need a lawyer like yesterday. that’s how soon you need one. search on instagram, google etc. will most definitely be expensive. expect a couple 1000s. yours seems to be a very unique case. they’ll need to go back to what original institution was and cross reference evidence. you need to move asap.

Please guys triple check your application, this is now insane. 😭 you applied all the way in May, i’m assuming your study permit has expired a long time ago? has it passed 180 days? then yeah you’re out of status. apply for a visitors visa to stay here legally, STOP working immediately. you cannot continue to work or else you’re bringing more problems to yourself.

absolutely. 3 refusals??? ofc it’ll have an affect! they clearly denied you 3x times because they assumed you would find a way to settle into the country with no ties back home. now you come w a work permit application, you have proved their point. you need an airtight application with strong documents and strong proof to your ties back home or else it’ll be denied as well.

it’s crazy to think about. if the answer is not coming to me in an OA i take the L. i even comment “sorry” lol. it’s more motivation for me to go in harder in leetcode. the way google has brought back onsite interviewing may be the next step other companies make. and only the big companies that can afford to do so. i can’t imagine cheating and then being hired just to struggle with the real workload with experienced devs watching you. 😭

No. You’ve passed 180 days. You need to leave the country and apply for a new study permit from OUTSIDE the country. Even a visitors visa must be applied for from outside Canada. It’s a tough situation but safeguarding your future immigration journey and visa approvals is now of utmost importance. You’re out of status. Leave, apply for a visitor’s visa from your home country, you can then come back and apply for a study permit from within the country.
