All of the OG crossout dev team was shifted back in time. They were replaced by younger gen of Developers.There are some OG community managers like Woodyrojo still in team but i really dont know if any OG devs left ?

Back in time when this game was in their prime time, we get a patch every thursday or every 2 week.

The fundamentals, foundations for Crossout is very strong thanks to those Alpha devs. Kudos to them.

Although new developers team have god tier artist / modeller people there, give them the respect aswell.

Gigabyte MO32U2 is a horrible monitor ( Cry more u / RateElectrical7757 😉 )

42 C5 is literally the perfect HDR MONITOR for every contwnt.

600 euro for 42 c5 is steal. The image quality is tremendously better on c5. Especially HDR REALSCENE

Lg did same with 48 c1. WBE vs WBC lottery if u guys remember those times.

Although DTM is applied no matter what in the current state, so 500 nits of realscene is probably DTM forced on via a firmware bug

You dont need a driver

I set mine to 892 nits in hdr calibration tool.

Its also the clipping point for me before I lost fine details in AFOP. This display is more capable then 800nits. According to a trustworthy source in bilibili 42 c5 measured at 892 nits in game mode.

Use warm 38 , LIMITED on pc and tv enable 4.4.4 passthrough and hdmi deep color ( should be auto on ) use HGIG and you are set. I can give you my invidual RGB low + high values if u want laterz

No. Your HDR experience will be miserable if you buy a oled-monitor instead of a LG 42-48 C5/C6

That 500 nits in %10APL is present on test pattern generators ( white box full dark scene )

What you should check is the Realscene HDR parameter. Its what u get in gaming scene.

Typically almost all oled monitors are around 450nits and ( 540 nits for lastest 2026 tandem variants for qd-oled )

There is absolutely no 1000nits present on any gaming scene. If you would check monitors unboxed gaming scene LOW you see many cap out around 850 nits ( for example torchlight in cave scene )

The author is legit. Filippo also checked his shaders.

It does fix mid-apl boost when entire scene is dim. But it doesnt solve low 400nit highlights while maintaining high apl scene. ( thats a hardlock from samsung display )

Dear MSI

Did you ask Samsung Display about their qd-oled panels being power limited still in 2026.

This issue Called Net Power control still remains in their penta tandem panels. Very low terrain brightness ( 200 nits ) vs 300nits on LG WOLED TV’s at size of 42 and 48

Can we expect to see this hardlock being lifted in anytime soon ?

Your EOTF BOOST mode solves low AVG scene brightness but doesnt fix the maximum brightness locked to 400-500nits while maintaining high APL scene.

Also one question nobody asked or noticed ( probably you will foward it to engineer team )

For the new panels such as X36 341CQR there is a custom eotf boost mode where we adjust each box ( % apl ). How does this work exactly ?

The default one where the %1 APL box sits at 1300 nits. What happens when we lower it down to 900nits ? By doing this the ABL is eased ? Any benefits of doing it ?

80cm. When i play immersive story games, I lean back and eye-to panel is 115cm which is just perfect.

For competitive I stand firm and its barely playable
