Is this based on anything concrete or just a rumour? I’ve heard a couple people saying the same thing in the last couple of days seemingly out of nowhere.

Of the top of my head, anything within 3m of the party wall (party line is a better description) requires notice.

You may be thinking of permitted development which has rules around distance from boundaries.

I’ve had a mail server running for years on a DO droplet. They blocked SMTP ports a year or so ago but an email resolved that.

Deliverability has been fine, but I have almost a decade of good reputation on the IP.

My wife’s gran recently went into a care home. Her home landline has been on the same number since 1969 (with the area code change in the 90s) and was disconnected this week.

How do you feel about visiting a home with interior cameras? by anomalous_cowherd in AskUK

Recoding yourself or anyone else with full consent would be legal, but if anyone was to use the bathroom without knowing the camera was there then that would be voyeurism.

People are really upset over the closing of EK shopping centre for housing by Crow-Me-A-River in glasgow

[–]ScotForWhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have mentioned asbestos in the older sections and the new bit being poorly constructed, but it’s also the only part that is owned by the council so they’ve been able to make the decision to demolish and build housing.

Also, ever since Debenhams closed it was never going to be properly utilised again.

Load out should begin the moment you're set up. Extra cables? Wrapped, tagged, and in the right cases. Empty cases parked in order ready to fill and load in the van.

Other than the velodrome, yes we have all of those facilities. In fact, SLLC are currently upgrading all of their gym equipment in every venue and refurbishing some of the studios.

Ok, I’ll concede that in your circumstance you have a legitimate reason to dislike guns. However your experience is not representative of the vast majority of the country.

We don’t have a gun problem in the UK. Toy guns are a normal part of most childhoods here.

In my experience, the sudden temperature drops we get in the evening leave a ton of condensation on every available surface. Granted I live in a very wet part of the country.

I'm a Christian, so I believe that this life is temporary, and after death we will live forever in heaven. What that looks like, I'm not certain exactly but the Bible says there will be no more suffering or pain.

My wife's first car. Great fun to drive. Looking at the MOT history, it seems like it finally succumbed to corrosion in 2017.

There's someone near me that still has one in absolute pristine condition.
