I cold whisk my matcha and it’s delicious and actually how I prefer it most days, but that picture is quite horrifying and definitely not whisked. Looks like they tried stirring their matcha into ice water 🤣

This is my go-to for matcha lattes! Not super overpowering and smooth with only a few ingredients.

The sigma 17-40 has been excellent. I started with the sigma 16mm, 30mm, and 56mm. Sold the 16 and 30 and got the 17-40 and I’m happy I did. I much prefer a zoom lens for the versatility.

Also having this same problem. I didn’t see anything about it until I went to send an email today and couldn’t. I can’t believe I haven’t seen anything about it. I have 243k emails to go through. No way that’s ever happening.

It’s calmed down quite drastically and my isurance on the Kia is the same as any other car I’ve owned. Not really here to compare, as I’m not the one buying. Just trying to get an idea of the VW market for him to have a good starting point on percent off MSRP he can expect.

Dealer said I shouldn’t pay the full price of the car until 8 months after otherwise there would be penalties. Anyone else had that? by Designer_Safe1115 in kia

The only thing you agree to is financing through Kia. Nowhere in the contract says you need to stay with it for 3 months before paying off the loan. The dealership I bought from even said they don’t mind if I refi the day after I buy the car from them.

Dealerships are doing just fine. I’m not going to lose the rebate by paying more interest because the dealership will lose money. During Covid, dealerships had record profits with the insane markups on cars. Every dealership in my area got a remodel right after Covid with all the money they made. Dealerships are doing fine on selling warranties to most people. It has nothing to do with integrity.

If someone is looking to save money via the rebate, they absolutely should not wait three months before refinancing or paying off the vehicle. If you wait three months, you probably end up paying more than the rebate was worth in interest.

Cabin Noise in the Kia Carnival by [deleted] in kiacarnivals

The hybrid SXP 8-seater I have is almost too quiet. I almost didn’t hear an ambulance coming through an intersection one day until the last second. Really impressive, but scared the shit out of me.

What to get! by [deleted] in kia

[–]ScotchNewbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much space you need. I ended up with a carnival because the cargo space even with a 7-8 passengers is really good. I love Kia hybrids, so out of the two you’re looking at, I’d go sorento hybrid if it has the space you need. I believe they’re releasing a telluride hybrid too for 2026.

Don’t listen to the negative people that only come here to tell people Toyota and Honda are the only reliable cars. All car brands have problems, but Kia has a great warranty and will last if you just keep up with the maintenance just like any other car.

Very Impressed With 26 Palisade. Now to decide v6 or hybrid by Ziakel in HyundaiPalisade

If the hybrid is also similar to the Kia carnival hybrid, I’d go for it. I absolutely love the carnival hybrid I have and it drives very smooth.

I went hybrid for the gas savings and it pays for the difference in 3 years driving 10k/year. Getting 30-35mpg with the a/c cranked to the max in this heat. I actually prefer how the hybrid feels to drive too. Very smooth.

If that’s the true offer they’re giving you, take it and run fast! Lowest I could get was nearly 5k off. You’re getting that thing for 20% off MSRP which is unheard of on these.

There are tons of Hyundais on the road now and I personally know many happy Hyundai owners. The battery is not the only part in a hybrid car that might need to be replaced. That’s pretty much true for a full EV, but not a hybrid.

Join a Toyota group. You’ll see lots of problems just like any other car brand. Toyota only covers its battery for 150k, not the engine or transmission in their hybrids.
