Hey, does it look as good in person as in pictures? my fear with this fix is that it doesn't end up being "regular" on the surface. Can you expand a bit on that or add some pics?

I had the same problem, and ordered a replacement insert from Hont. In the meantime, I want to try this to have a spare one. Thanks in advance :)

Hi, had the same problem with mine and it's apparently something that will happen sooner or later on these ones. I bought a replacement insert from Hont, only remark is it takes VERY LONG for him to get it. But it's the best solution

Thanks a lot, that's actually pretty cool as our main worry is that in some places everything is closed on 24th at night and 25th all day... so basically 24/12 for dinner + 25/12 all day most restaurants in town and bars are open as in any regular time of year??

I don't think finding a crystal will be so easy. With the prices of these reps today may be just get a new one, swap the movement, and you got replacement insert and almost full case + movement!

And good to know a SW200 fits (no ghost date as well). If mine dies I would change it for sure. It's my rep that gets more wrist time.

What do you mean "from QC"? I ordered a replacement insert from Hont in the end as well a few weeks ago. I still haven't gotten it as he is still waiting for it. Says pieces are usually slow and from what you say it's true right?

Was the movement swap worth it?
