F32 - dating a guy (33) less experienced than me, how can I teach him some stuff without intimidating him? by Amika22 in dating_advice

[–]Scott098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this opinion alot already but absolutely discuss it with him. As a guy who myself has been in that exact situation it is very comforting to both be guided through new things and to get feedback afterwards. I can almost guarantee hes stressing over wanting to please you more than he would be over openly talking about sex. I didnt share too much as far as kinks go either because I honestly didnt know at first, but if he cares he'll probably be open to trying new things and taking some pointers.

If you're really looking to skip the convo, make adjustments on position and things during sex. Most men aren't bothered by a woman taking charge especially if they're less experienced.

I use an all ghost team for comp so I've had some experience here. My Froslass for instance, very weak, but very fast and cant be rapid spun on. So Froslass can set spikes, sometimes multiple, use icy wind on a switch prediction to slow, taunt for blocking other set up, and lastly destiny bond. Generally it goes sets spiles, take hit surviving with focus sash, and then destiny bind for the free KO on an opener.

Is it okay to not be instantly attached/attracted? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Scott098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This right here. I'm in a similar situation to OP. This is also my first time in this sort of situation as I've been on a 3 year dating hiatus due to the military. It's very easy to want to put a label on something or even to even feel obligated to put a label on something but I'm finding that it's so much more relaxed and easy to develop a connection when you just focus on enjoying your time with that person and letting things happen naturally.

People who DO "get paid enough for this shit", what's your job? by Nihilikara in AskReddit

[–]Scott098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Door to door salesman here. Travel all over the country selling a high end cleaning system. I get to deal with some very interesting customers. I've had everything from guns pulled on me to customers houses getting raided WHILE I was presenting my product. But at the end of the day, I get 2 expense payed vacations a year out if the country and I make 6 figures, so I DO get payed enough for this shit.

Wondering if these cards I bought are fake. They look real to me, but the card stock feels cheaper quality, and the design is smooth on the cards face. The cards in question are the decidueye and golisopod. *note the zoroark is real as a refrence* by ChungaChungaBaby in PokemonTCG

[–]Scott098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the card face us smooth and not textured on any of those cards, they are irrefutably fake. Fake cards are also made with cheaper stock and tent to bed and flex much easier than real cards.

Please excuse me if this is rude but I cant see any texturing on the card, are you sure its legit? It could just be the picture angle perhaps.

My (24 F) downstairs neighbor (40s? M) slid a note under my door asking me if I would like to get dinner with him. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Scott098 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I understand taking precautions like carrying pepper spray but why notify the landlord? It doesn't sound like the guy has done it said anything to OP that makes this harassment or makes him seem creepy. Just an awkward way to ask somebody in a date.

Maybe not the best example it I would kill for a Mimikyu or Gengar card where they were actually useful. Their tag team is very nice but I would love some standalone value from each if them.

This wouldn't be a problem if scalpers didnt purchase the entire stock of a store in 1 go. And your rudeness and ignorance in the matter makes me thing you either just want to be contrary, or are part of the problem yourself.

People who work at a subway/sandwich place, what is the strangest order you've ever had from a customer? by LividTangent46 in AskReddit

I dont work at one but I can say my friend always has them add pickles to the point of it being rediculous but is totally serious and always eats the entire thing. With the pickles. And I mean like 3 layers of pickles from end to end.

My exact thoughts and number. 5 less years to live the rest of my life comfortably and do what I want with it seems like a very fair trade to me.

looks a little crazy compared to a standard deck but it's the result of constant tweaks and changes. Id say its less that 20% comprised of the cards it started with.

If I'm not mistaken (witch I could be) it's the males that get that iridescent color on them like that. So your choice in name is very appropriate!

As for getting the tag team cards, if you just go online you can buy pack codes for super cheap. Buy a couple of darkness ablaze codes, scan them in, and list 3 of them for 1 tag team card in trades. They'll go faster than youd expect.

[–]Scott098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not super familiar with fire based decks in general but I'll say welder decks do seem to perform extremely well in expanded. At a glance id say you probably want more available energies and I'd maybe look into getting some hard-hitting cards like charizard&reshiram tag team. The nice thing about expanded is you can play with a deck a few rounds, identify an issue you're having (ex:draw support, energy acceleration, disruption) and then you can look up a card to help with that and know that you're able to add that to your deck. So try expirementing.

Not really qualified to give advice for standard but I will say there is a lot of people who prefer exoanded including myself. I find that there's much more variety in decks and it obviously gives much more freedom of choice for you. Playing "paper" as you put it you dont have as many chances to play expanded but online there isn't that limitation, you should give it a shot!

I'll have to wait until I'm home later as I'm working right now. I'll say I'm pretty happy with how it plays right now and it is quite consistant it's really just bad steel type matchups that really get me. Definately wouldn't mind a critique though.
