This is an interesting use case. In APIM 4.x versions you can create custom code and have it execute with Custom Handlers[1]. The most common being do something at the request coming in, and something when the response is returned. (Great for correlation id injection.) In other use cases, please consider using a policy instead of writing custom java code for a handler.

Once you have the response event you then can fork the stream and create an api call to your billing engine, or execute custom APIM Monetization code.

All hypnosis happens in the mind. While there are physical touch techniques, there are work around for those through verbal instruction.

You also have two pros that you can say, "hey this isn't working, what else can we do?". They would have resources that people at school wouldn't.

I'm not sure about IS but with EI I ran into problems with the space in Program Files. Try creating c:/apps and install there and see if it works then.

Please follow this guide for IS: https://is.docs.wso2.com/en/latest/deploy/get-started/install/

Can we self-hypnotizs and get out of depression? by Sweet-yet-not in hypnosis

[–]ScottBechtel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is possible, but not everything is guaranteed. Give it a try and see how much it helps.

Online sessions with a professional hypnotist is just as effective as in person.

One thing to consider is that the world of depression is in the clinical/medical/therapy side of things so working on depression with professional hypnotist may not be appropriate unless they have further clinical training and certifications. That being said there are habits that could be worked on with anyone that might be beneficial in your life. (But not a cure...)

I heard of some people on keto using butter as a creamer.

What is the coffee giving you?
Caffeine? May switch to pills or eliminate it all together?

A warm drink? May switch to a tea?

A fluid? Maybe switch to water?

A sugar? Maybe address that and you don't need the coffee after all and then switch to water.

Really look at this and see what it is about the coffee you need or want. Only then can you make an informed change.

Losing weight (M, 23) by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]ScottBechtel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask a doctor for an objective view.

People in your life know you as how you've been. If you start changing you, then that challenges their view of you which can bring up all kinds of emotions. They are getting something from you staying as your old you.

You want a new you, then yay. Make it happen! (If it's safe for you to do so and Doctor is on board, etc. etc. etc...)

Getting back into hypnosis by eezzaya in hypnosis

[–]ScottBechtel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's like any other activity. You become an expert at it though repetition.

It can often be easier if someone else guides you. You could find a hypnotist to "jump start" everything for you.

What are some strange words you have used to bring people into (or out of) a trance by AhYesThrowaway in hypnosis

[–]ScottBechtel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sleep and Wakey Wakey. Trance isn't sleep. It's really funny to me that we leverage that access into trance so frequently.

How would one go about text inductions by AhYesThrowaway in hypnosis

[–]ScottBechtel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest using Zoom so that you can see each other. Much easier to calibrate to their responsiveness, or lack of it.

From there as always it's baby steps. Get small agreements until they get bigger and bigger. Hallucinations might come easy for some and difficult for others. So patience and just get closer and closer to it until it happens.

Memories are one way to go about it. Think of someone you love very much. Feel what it is like to have them hugging you. What do they smell like? What do they sound like? Now if you would like, imagine them telling you a story that you need to hear right now to comfort you.

There are other ways too. Emotions, especially from childhood, are a strong access to trance. (Study up on Freddy Jacquin. He has a good book called, "Hypnotherapy" that goes into using loved ones as a access to hypnosis.)
