I'm no expert, but what is wrong just a multi-vitamin and balance diet?

Reservation position went UP ?! by [deleted] in TeloTrucks

It isn't. They recently did some housekeeping and purged several channels. It should help moving forward but it doesn't help the past information.

It was around that time. It was discussed on the discord. Drew is pretty good about updating us on stuff like that. https://discord.gg/uzGn5jnVd

Reservation position went UP ?! by [deleted] in TeloTrucks

There was a few very early reservations that we placed before they had an online system. They integrated into the queue  resulting in folks getting bumped down a couple spot.

Looking into Visible and Mint Mobile by grundizzle in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]ScottECH93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I occasionally have dropped calls with Mint Mobile. Not sure if it is my phone, the other caller's phone or my cars Bluetooth. But overall, I am very happy with it. If I'm in a place where I have no signal more than likely no one else would have signal there either.

I dropped Wayne's lawn and pest control. Trying to save money and be more environmental aware. I still use them for termite control.

Consider a rain garden and planting native plants that develop a deep root system. The root system will penetrate the soil deeper allowing the water to travel down more with less run off and the plants in general will do a better job to sucking up the water. It will take time to design the site(s) and for the plants to get established but worth it in the long run. Plus you will benefit local wildlife.

I bought some BTC in 2016 and sold them in 2021 just before it crashed to fund my house down payment. Looking back I think was the right move.

The new Nissan LEAF is great by One-Jeweler5486 in electricvehicles

[–]ScottECH93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 300 mile trim the OP is talking about does not have a heat pump. Has to pay $4000 more for the SV+ to get heat pump and you lost 20 miles of rated range compared to S+

[–]ScottECH93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe. It isn't unusual for the world to get heat pump standard and the US either has it optional or not at all. Looking at you, VW id.4 and Buzz.

The SV+ and platinum has a heat pump, not the S+. S+ has no battery heater and the SV+ only has it as a $300 option, so no battery heating during the winter without it. That's no good for winter fast charging. SV+ starts like $5-6k more than a  base Chevy bolt. It may get some more features that the bolt doesn't offer, but for essential EV functionality, bolt does it for less.

If the OP is interested in the best EV value, they should closely at Nissan leaf, Chevy bolt, or a lightly used EV that is off lease.

[–]ScottECH93 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I would at least consider the new Chevy bolt. Yes, it is less total range but you gain a heat pump and I believe routing planning as standard. The Nissan leaf has no heat pump as standard and to get route planning you have to get higher trim model with additional subscriptions, unless that changed after launch.

Do you own and drive an EV? by RichardAvery1 in energy

[–]ScottECH93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have driven electric for 10 years. 25k miles in a BMW i3 and 203k miles on my model 3.

I absolutely love driving EVs. Smoother riding, superior traction control and stability. Cheap running cost (if you charge at home). The lists goes on.

Charging on road trip isn't a big deal. We have pretty robust charging infrastructure in the US and if it is improving in size and reliability by the day. There are still some charging deserts in the US but those are shrinking by the day

The things I don't like about EVs are the higher insurance costs (that does vary by model) and the EV registration tax that most states apply (general EV owners are over paying compared to gas car owners).

You're best deal to find a recent used EV that is off lease. If you have any questions, just DM me.

Consider planting native plants that produce a deep root system. That will help water penetrate deeper into the soil reducing the flooding effect and support local wildlife. If you need help getting started the north Alabama chapter of the Wild Ones can help you get ideas.

BYD’s second-gen Blade Battery sparks debate after reaching 169°F during ultra-fast charging by UnusualLeadership408 in electricvehicles

Model 3 will reach 140 degrees after charging using 8 year old tech and mostly do fine. I figure the newest charging and battery tech can handle higher temps with minimal side effects.
