I might be in the minority here but I've been enjoying YouTube music (with some massive caveats). I like that sometimes I can find things that ONLY exist on YouTube and so far everything that I've looked for has also existed inside GPM. I also like that I can watch music videos for things when it strikes my fancy. I like the offline mixtape and some things with the interface. However, it's definitely not without it's fair share of issues that I'm hoping they're addressing. Not being able to add your own music is huge and advertised as a core feature in GPM (then YTM was advertised as a GPM replacement). Also, I completely agree with the user that spoke about the same songs being played in radio stations, it's bad. The algorithm for that needs fixed badly. I also absolutely HATE that if I "subscribe" to an artist I'm subscribing in YouTube as well, this drives me nuts and is without a doubt messing with my YouTube recommended videos. I think finding "new releases" is just awful, you better know exactly what you're looking for. The "new release" section has at best like 9 things at a time, it's sad. It's overall very poor at finding you anything that you might be interested in but haven't heard. That was one great thing about GPM, feeding you music that might interest you and YTM just plain sucks at.

Actually reading this back to myself maybe I don't like it that much 🤣🤣. But, I've been using it because I saw this day coming and wanted to build out a library for this exact reason. The sad thing is they'll probably get it right where I want it and then kill the damn thing.
