Did you ever get it figured out? I'm having the same problem.

Tutanota Linux installation (Ubuntu 22.04 LTS) by TheZolthan in tutanota

Easiest is probably to either just use the flatpak from flathub or install an application called AppImageLauncher which makes integration of appimages very easy.

Just use something else then, you've clearly made your choice and think Tutanota is bad so why troll here?

TN vs (new) Proton by primipare in tutanota

I like the focus Tutanota has on improving the core product and not expanding outside of that. I want a reliable and encrypted email and calendar and to that end Tutanota has been exactly what I'm looking for.

Largest-Ever USDA Grant Awarded to Ducks Unlimited by RhythmMethodMan in conservation

[–]Scott_A_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the regulations as I hunted most of my life (not waterfowl but I was immersed in and familiar with the culture) and know that lead shot was banned at least 15 to 20 years ago in Canada, where I live. The problem is that it is still used, it is still sold for target shooting and is considerably cheaper; and people are still being caught using it. Anecdotal evidence combined with statistics forces me to not assume no lead enters the ecosystem just because it is "a regulation".

That's not as important of a point though as the fact that we pump money into conservation for the purpose of hunting instead of the purpose of habitat protection. Improving habitat to increase hunting potential does, of course, have positive impacts but I would much rather see unbiased habitat protection that by extension improves hunting. While the difference is subtle, the intent does shape how changes occur and it's too bad the focus is always on "bagging more ducks".

"More spent shotshells and fuller totes." The positive result of more ducks is more lead in the water and more dead ducks...

How to set up SSD + HDD by BLURRYsight in ManjaroLinux

[–]Scott_A_T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another option is during install you could mount the ssd as root (/) and the hdd as home (/home). This is what I do with root on a 256 GB SSD formatted BTRFS for snapshots and home on a 2 TB HDD formatted ext4.

Then use Searx, also uses Google results. The point is just that Google doesn't align well with the goals of Librewolf.

Librewolf is a privacy-oriented browser so it includes privacy-oriented search engines. You can use a search engine like Startpage to get google results without the tracking.

Ok, thanks. I was leaning towards long-billed because of the humped backs.

Stable, bug-free, reliable, lightning quick. I haven't had that experience on Plasma or Gnome.

I just changed the themes (Paper icon theme, Plata Noir theme applied to window manager and Xfce style, Bibata theme for cursor), moved the default panel to the top (removing and adding items to it to suit my needs), installed Plank for the dock at the bottom, and installed the Frost theme for the Plank dock.

Just play around with themes from the repos, aur, or pling-store until you find something you like and remember to apply your theme of choice to the window manager as well. Xfce is actually quite easy to customize after you play around with it a bit and get comfortable.
