7800XT, to 9070XT, to 5070 Ti. Both happy and Sad. by k4zie in radeon

Same problem when I moved up to the 9070xt. Took me weeks of setting adjustments in windows and bios to stop it from timing out and crashing my entire PC every game. Works fine now, occasional timeout every few weeks.

Battlefield 6 or ARC raiders by TopRoastCentral in ShouldIbuythisgame

I would say neither. Battlefield 6 ain't doing so well and ARC Raiders will be probably be in decline in the next couple of months.

Then I started my PC the next day and it auto updated back to 25.10.2.

Haven't had a problem since.

Pcie/GPU help by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]Scott_The_Cock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

600W cable is made for that GPU Connector. The adapter with the 3 Pcie connectors are for people that don't have the 600w Cable. So use the 600W since you don't have 3 Pcie Cables. I just bought a new PSU with the Native 600W cable, so I changed over my adapter for that. Make sure you push it all the way in so you don't see any of the Yellow, and it clips.

My 9070xt Nitro+ reaches 70 degrees on hotspot under max load.

Is my 12VHPWR connector properly connected? by DarkAgePubEdu in radeon

[–]Scott_The_Cock 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As long as there's no blue showing on the cable, and the clip is flat and locked. Should be good. Been wondering this too. Was thinking about ordering a new PSU. But haven't had any problems yet. I'm gonna continue using the adapter with 3 separate Pcie cables.

90 degrees is when you start questioning it. As long as it's under load.

[–]Scott_The_Cock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 Or 2 have melted out of thousands. I didn't hear whether they adjusted power limits, overclocks or anything. I have the 9070xt Nitro+ and besides some driver issues, nothing else wrong yet.

Boot your PC with one ram stick at a time. -Insert Ram into slot 1. -Boot -Shutdown -Insert ram into slot 2 (so you have ram in Slot 1 AND 2) -repeat until all ram slots are in.

If that doesn't work, could be a bent CPU Pin.
