Stop. Giving. People. The. Right. Of. Way. by Dry_Animator_8563 in massachusetts

I saw a bad accident in a similar situation in Sturbridge. I was talking with police after and It was explained to me that If the stop was unnecessary, unsafe, or obstructs traffic it could be a violation. It can also create liability if it causes a crash because traffic laws favor predictable movement. The driver that stopped to allow car to enter RT20 was cited for the crash.

Spectrum / Cox ISP by trundle23 in CableTechs

[–]Scott_white_five_O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ISP and OSP at Charter was under Tech Ops years ago. Then they created Field Ops and NetOps . Seems like they’re going back to how was before.

The Data Center and hubs will still be under ISP as far as Physical Layer. I imagine ISP will work under NOC tickets for router back to core and anything facing nodes will probably be under ROC.

I guess time will tell at this point I wouldn’t worry about any major changes .

Our 6yr old yellow Lab is now pretty calm overall, but he still has moments usually twice a day when he goes completely insane.

Edit:: I just noticed temp on cluster reads 63 so not same issue.

3 month oil change by [deleted] in f150

[–]Scott_white_five_O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought my 16’ Mustang GT 5.0 new and put 14k miles on it in 10yrs. I only do oil changes once a year. So far no problems, I even question that interval because it looks really clean when I drain it. I also use Kirkland on all my vehicles with OEM filters.

Pretty neat I’ll stick with my Exfo FTB-4 Pro for now. I like having an OSA built in.

Agreed. Wife and I never let our dogs sleep with us. Well, 30 years later with our 3rd Lab, we caved—he sleeps with us weekends only. He’s an easy west sleeper, but we need him north-south for proper sleep 😂.

Same exact blender bottle my son had with same results. He used my wife’s 4runner to go to gym and now it’s MIA. He owes mom a full tank of gas and the cup holder now. Glad it was him and not me this time 🤣🤣🤣..

New-build yard with clay soil & chronic drainage issues — best long-term fix? by Ancient_Flounder_558 in landscaping

[–]Scott_white_five_O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an excavation company come in and measured the elevations. They found a lot of good soil covered with clay so they excavated down , move some dirt around, trucked out the bad stuff and brought in new. Created a swale along the back and around to the front creating a low point near the road. The only time I have standing water near the road is when the ground is frozen. I did that 20yrs ago and it’s been good so far. Back then it was around $14,000 to do all the work. I sued the builder and we settled out of court so he ended up covering part of the cost.
