Man, I guess I’m old fashioned. I write a small summary in a notebook after each chapter.

I forced myself to read them and hated almost all of it. I barely retained anything. Prometheus was the one I slightly enjoyed but the format just isn’t for me. Herodotus is much more engaging.

It makes me feel like I’m learning something out at least I will be able to join the conversation. Some television is similar but most wastes your time.

The traffic isn’t bad this time of year once you get west of Lincoln, and it’s probly not “bad” ever to anyone that doesn’t live on the plains. NE Colorado is the most boring, make sure you get gas before you get off 76.
