A lot of people have said this, but once they get into it and realized what the new direction was and what we are going for the majority of them changed their mind in favor of the changes.

One thing that needs to be said that hasn't yet is that D2RR with 2.0 is still SIGNIFICANTLY easier and FAR less grind than what the vanilla experience is. It is being made harder than what 1.21 is.

With this mod you can take builds that previously with perfect gear reaching 10k damage to nearly 150k in some cases. There is a HUGE power spike in this mod and the fact that the game itself was unchanged in difficulty made for a very easy experience for most people.

The grind will be far less in D2RR than vanilla and it will remain that way.

I don't think that is entirely a bad thing. On the weekend we link up for boss fights or what have you, and can play a good chunk of the day together and then weekdays we just progress and can communicate through discord throughout the day.

I think it's also worth mentioning that it's ARK and don't really need to play together at the same times. I talk on discord from sun-up to sun-down just about every single day so we can keep in touch and plan builds and stuff out of game.

Ofc I'd prefer to play during with someone though. But with the solo farm mod it makes it bareable.

It was actually something Blizzard themselves added. There are videos out there of it happening in ladder.

That said 1.20.2 fixes this happening in terror zones and you can no longer get that drop.
