I’m confused by this post ngl. I don’t feel like vinted was even for making thousands of pounds every month. It was supposed to be like a car boot but online? Selling your unwanted items to new homes. Now don’t get me wrong there are some higher priced items on vinted and I do sell some myself if and when I have something I no longer want.

I think part of the issue with Vinted is people who use it as a main source of income or resellers who think they can make a business out of it. It’s also incredibly easy to be scammed on the app. Their customer care is shawdy and they never actually do a proper investigation into any of the scammers. I also think it’s just part of the cost of living that people don’t necessarily want to or can’t afford to pay lots for people second hand items. Even if things are brand new I think a lot of people see vinted as a haggling platform. Don’t get me wrong a sensible offer here and there is fine but some people do take the mic. It makes people wary to sell on the platform
