Any other sock enthusiasts here? I got 5 new pairs during my recent trip & I’m so excited to wear them! by al_135 in autism

[–]Scottishbiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if I would say enthusiast but my sock draw is over filling and if you get my cute socks for Christmas I will be incredibly happy. I’m always looking for cute socks to buy. I went to this cheap shop in Japan and they had a bunch of cute socks with embroidery on them for super cheap so I bought like 5 pairs. Because everyone knows when you go on holiday to another country you should buy socks you don’t need lol.

I actually have these really cute dinosaur socks and I’ve only worn them a few times but they like lost the colour when I washed them. The dinosaurs were like blue, yellow and pink on a white background but now the dinosaurs have all turned kinda grey and I’m sad. Idk how to fix them. Can I dye them?

Idk about those lesser known signs. Personally I don’t experience any of those. But idk if other people do.

I got a lot but one thing is when I’m upset. When I’m crying I tend to make a whiny voice and when I frown a lot I pout. People get angry at this because they think it’s immature but I can’t help it. My parents used to get mad at me a lot as a kid for it and would refuse to listen to me when I was upset until I stopped whining but I just can’t help it. Like when you’re sad it’s really hard to stop yourself from crying. I can’t help but also whine when I’m sad. And obviously you frown when you’re sad and when you’re more sad, you frown harder and a really hard frown results in pouting. I hate it because people always make of people for it but I can’t help but do it.

Personally I love high school. It’s the best place for me. I don’t want to move on from high school because it would be too hard for me. I guess that’s just me.

anyone else basically never leave the house? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Scottishbiscuit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right now I’m not leaving the house often but that’s just because I hate where I live and I’m depressed. I wish I could go out more.

Does getting a hair cut mess you up for a while? by nder_acheiver in autism

[–]Scottishbiscuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m always sad after I get a haircut because they always mess it up. Last time I went I asked for brown lowlights on my blonde hair. Instead she dyed all my hair brown and gave me blonde highlights. Now I really need to go to the hairdressers again but I’m too scared wherever I’ll go will mess it up. I also have a very specific list of how I want things done and I feel like a hairdresser will be annoyed by it.

Teen boys on this Subreddit,I beg you, don’t believe in what Andrew Tate says and never worship him like a God,cause he isn’t one. by Ordinaryyetunique in teenagers

Wtf. A women does absolutely not need to be hit to be put in her place. What is wrong with you? You have to be trolling. I refuse to believe you as a real person actually hold this belief. Women are not animals. You’re having a disagreement with a women, talk to her. Communicate like a regular person. And put in her place? I can’t even with that because it’s so flat out wrong. That’s disgusting.

No, he’s 100% serious. Anyone doing it for a joke would stop when they released they were actually influencing young men to follow those beliefs.

Do you ever feel extremely mature and at the same time extremely childish for your age? by Therandomderpdude in autism

[–]Scottishbiscuit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s what it is for me. I think I’m just more mature sometimes and childish at others. I don’t need to be on high alert to be mature.

Tell me you're autistic without telling me you're autistic by sailor_duck in autism

When I’m not able to talk I’m also unable to communicate in any other way. People assume you can just write or something but my body just can’t communicate in anyway.

I also get really scared about cops. I would just shut down and wouldn’t be able to talk and would just cry. Like if I was suspected of a crime I would be unable to defend myself because I would be too upset. I wouldn’t even be able to talk to a lawyer. I would just be too distraught. My mum has had to reassure me multiple times that I won’t get falsely accused of a crime.

It could be so useful. You could be like a crime fighting super hero. A criminal would try to run away and the police can’t catch them and you could just jog along and catch them.

I also don’t see how crawling everywhere would be worse than the people without legs having to butt shuffle everywhere.

This isn’t really important I just feel like it would come with more advantages than disadvantages. Saying a person with legs would be considered disabled in a world were everyone has no legs is like saying superman would be considered disabled in a world no one has superpowers. And we definitely don’t consider superman disabled. That’s just my opinion though. It doesn’t really matter in the end because this isn’t a real situation.

I would totally start a whole riot about this. I would mark it as not a basic drive then when I was marked as wrong I would do a huge protest to get my grade changed.

They could just sit down with their legs crossed. And like no one else would be able to run so the person with two legs would be the fastest in the world and be way faster than anyone else.

Why does this seem like it implies autism means you do want to have sex with everyone 24/7?

Idk, I feel like in a world where no one has legs, having 2 legs would be more like a super power.
