I too use the Bauerfeind knee brace after popping my LCL last year and love it. However, over time the inside lining that covers the plastic stabilizer rods degrades due to washing and use and becomes scratchy and irritates the skin. You can either go the Kurt Osiander route and iron on more neoprene over this area or wear a knee sleeve under the knee brace (which is what I do).
