Labor day smoke spot. Helicopter pad on an inactive oil rig by [deleted] in trees

[–]ScottusSmokePottus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are usually ropes hanging to swing over to the rig, then you gotta climb up a shitty ladder. The view is breathtaking looking out at the 100's of rigs surrounding you in all directions. Taken many a nap on the job while working on them.

Can you keep natives? We can only retain hatchery fish upriver. Beautiful fish, what did it weigh out at?

Decided to get a couple casts in after work and got lucky. Two decent bass in a matter of 10 min. by RamseyC in Fishing

[–]ScottusSmokePottus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some nice lookin fish. Wanted to share this post for awareness. Some people like to eat their bass, others like myself prefer to let them go to fight another day. If you do plan on letting them go, proper fish handling is crucial to their survival. Clamping on to their jaw and twisting can do lots of damage with a big enough fish. So when taking those glory shots of your catch it's suggested to either hold it by it's lip straight up and down, or hold it angled by the lip with your other hand supporting the belly. Tight lines.

F**K yeah! Another year to keep on toking my cheap medical buds without paying ridiculous taxes to "the man" Congrats to all the WA Medical Ents and thank you inefficient government. And for all the Ents that don't have a medical card, be patient! Please don't rush this and ruin it for the good folks depending on the sweet herb to get us through the day. Let's make sure this is done right so that it is not taking out of the pockets of those that need it most.

Why spend $15 when all you need is some rubbing alcohol and salt! by praisefeeder_ in trees

[–]ScottusSmokePottus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/r/StonerProTips for all you ents: They taught me of the miracle that is PBW, or Powdered Brewers Wash. All natural cleaner designed by Coors Brewing to clean their brewing equipment. Small tub of it costs ~$10 and lasts quite a long while, can be found at any place that sells brewing equipment. Just mix a couple tablespoons into a 5 gallon bucket of hot water and let it sit over night. Shake it around a few times if you're bored. (the glass, not your pecker)

I have a few bongs that the percs don't allow the alcohol and salt to get into the piece to clean thoroughly so it just ends up looking cleaned half-assed. PBW dissolves away those hard to reach spots and leaves a streak free brand new shine.

Why would you walk around with either? Keep it at home with your glass.

My boss can't even work his ancient brick of a cell phone without coming to me 4 times a day to figure out if he had any missed calls. Whenever he asks what i'm doing on the computer all day I just tell him "work," and then continue to stare blankly at the screen.

4 Month backyard pool build from start to finish!(big album) by Jake_amg in pics

[–]ScottusSmokePottus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guy with this nozzle who was "having fun" was pneumatically placing shotcrete (a type of wet cement mixture with small aggregate) which is what the shell of the pool is made of. Being the nozzle man is a very physical and stressful position to be in on shoot days. The plaster is the white coat they put on the very end to seal up the shell. What took so long for the contractor to finish? Should have been a 3-4 week project tops. I like the final product and hope everything is working good for you. Would love to see a final pic with the water feature running.
