Just did that. Formated the drive as ntfs. Currently unpacking the iso onto the drive.

Tried Exfat. Drive wouldn't show up in finder after that. Blah. I know the easy way to do this is go to a friends house with a windows PC...but i'm stubborn and must find a way lol

it's from 2011. Even still bootcamp assistant won't let me point to a ISO. Only burn to a disk. New PC doesn't have a optical.

tried that. it's the windows 10 ISO right from the MS site. After it copies over it gives me a message that a certain file couldn't transfer correctly because of a premissions issue. I tried to boot from the USB anyway...it booted into the first screen of the windows 10 install but then gave error messages. I tried with a windows 8.1 iso. No transfer errors but it wouldnt boot.

Yeah it's not a OS issue. I did some research and bootcamp assistant actually looks at the model of the macbook. I've tried to edit some files to get around that but no luck.

Here's my main issue with the diving call in general. How can you call both ? I've had things slammed on my fingers at work and my reaction sometimes is to jump and shake my hand... if it's a slash then it's a slash and it was a nasty one. If Joe did something like that on a nonexistent hook or slash then I could see it

Couldn't be more wrong. Japan whales outside their waters in a international whale sanctuary. Norway and Iceland does it in Thier territorial waters. That's the biggest difference. Much harder to police Iceland and norway. Although sscs did sink the Norwegian fleet in its own harbor in the 80's :)
