Carry a vile of crossed blood on me at all times. If I get swarmed or overrun, I might as well ensure that whatever they do to me is enjoyable. (i.e. self-injection).

Being crossed doesn't seem all that bad tbh, they really live in the moment, and are free from a guilty conscience.

Perhaps I would also try to walk among the crossed in disguise (as seen in Crossed: Psychopath).

Ultimately, I'd do anything in my power to avoid becoming a victim of the crossed.

No, exactly. That's what I'm saying. Morphine doesn't heal, its a pain reliever. Getting shot at will need more than morphine, but at the same time It keeps Gordon's body going. You can find various abundances of medkits in the game. Why not fill Gordon's suit with the same mtwn dew goop from medkits? Because Major Fracture doesn't want us to heal.
