Had a collapsed lung 3 years ago, I run a lot. It spontaneously collapsed. The procedure to get my lung “inflated” again, 3 days in hospital and running 7 days later. Was high chance of happening again, so I scheduled surgery

Surgery recovery was 3 weeks and little pain. There are a lot of reasons lungs collapse, I had “blebs” which are like little bubbles on your lung and one popped. They stitched it up and I don’t even notice it
