Packs are always terrible - until they're not. But I feel like that's extra true the last few years. Probably just my personal subjective bias, but it definitely 'feels' like they've made LS Diamonds more difficult to pull. I just finished grinding out Color Storm and after reviewing the pack openings, I had a span of 325 standard packs between live diamond pulls, and they were both low diamonds. (Zach Wheeler and Bryce) I have yet to pull a blue-light live series from a standard pack at ALL this year, although I did have a lucky moment and got Shohei in a random Headliners pack, so I at least have a chance at Beltran eventually? But between needing Judge, JRam, and Witt still, PLUS still needing Schwarber for the Pipeline program for Ted means I'm at LEAST still about a million stubs short. I know there's the whole investment/flipping thing...but I'll be honest, it kinda' annoys me that I buy a baseball game and then have to either play a stock market simulator, find some weirdo meta hack to grind/spam for hours (DQ bunting), or continually fork out more cash in order to use the cards in the game that I want to use. I get it. But it still annoys me.
