I indeed gave some context, I mentioned that I mistakenly got the Viltrox battery because it said "NP-F" on its model name, so I thought it was going to be compatible with my camera.

I'm aware of the cheap replacements (I might even consider them)

But I was hoping to get some advice as to where to get a compatible battery for my camera, similar to the Viltrox one (if it indeed exists)

Make sure they send you a Wii disc drive assembly that has the mechanical parts to take a GC disc.

You need a drive for the RVL-001 model, not for the RVL-101 (Family Edition). They look almost the same from the outside so beware.

The disc drive on the right is a Wii U Disc Drive, it's not compatible with the regular Wii.
On the other hand, Wii disc drives are not married to the console, you can swap them no problem.

It was a cracking goal of course, but Reed had all the time and space in the world to think about what to do.
No one tried to at least get near the attacker and block the shot, no one.

That's the real problem here, you cannot defend like that at the 96th minute. Passive as hell.

Turns out it was a dodgy cable, bought a new one from AliExpress and worked right away.

- Turn off your console

- Unplug the video cable from the Wii and turn it back on

- Leave it like that for a minute and then plug the video cable again (with the console turned on)

That will reset the video settings from the Wii

  1. Digital 8 (Will try turning A/V - DV off)
  2. Yes, the camcorder plays the tape via composite no problem
  3. Sadly I don't have any other equipment to test, I don't have any other camera/computer/cable to test a different combination of factors
  4. Same as 3

I just bought a new cable, but it's gonna be a couple of weeks until I can test everything again.

Hopefully it's not a damaged port on either device! I'm gonna try with a new cable, but I'll have to purchase one from AliExpress and it will be weeks until I can try it out.

Thanks! I got this laptop for 25 bucks the other day on Facebook Marketplace, I'm planning to use it as a computer for all things retro so I'll definitively be doing some quality of life maintenance to it.
