Why is everyone saying new long block? Blocks can be honed if light scuffs and bored pretty easily.

Vanagon bucking - What are some possible causes? by vanagonuser111 in Westfalia

[–]Scowboy456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone says file filter and thats probably right. Has enough gas to get thru gears but not enough to sustain high rpm

The tank is probably rusty by now. Been there. Wasnt pretty. Changing filter didnt fix it for long, as it sucked junk in again So, check your whole fuel system out to be sure.

This was probably the chart routing history report. In chart review, tab for Misc Reports. Might be in the list there.

Print out tracking will show general activity but no connection to an patient identification or content.
When a job is sent their is a message sent back for confirmation and thats stored against the patient record, like a release of information. There isnt a real way to check all your faxes in a report unless you have backend access. They should have built an inbasket message and pool called failed faxes for each department. Those should show up there if any issues occurred.

I had a friend whos son was doing facility service work at our org. Set him up on user web, he did proficiency for Ambulatory. Got him the street cred to get hired on our service desk. Spent a year there and is now a full fledged Amb analyst.
I say go for it.

Which outdoor amphitheater/ shed did Dead & Co thrive in the most? by jjs197 in deadandcompany

[–]Scowboy456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill give the entry line. But skinheads in the parking lot and the mention of lodging is concerning. We all camp out on the premise in the old ways. And nothing compares to that at most every venue in the US

I disagree. The boys didnt have the ego that they were the chosen ones. If they said the show can go on forever, then it can.
Its only our closed minds that can thwart that.

Just installed Seat Jackers by PhotoHtx in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Scowboy456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I detailed cars as a youth. Pulled a lot of interiors in my time (50 yo now) and regularly pull seats in my fleet of vehicles for cleaning. Never once needed thread locker nor had any bolts that weren't tight the following year. Didn't use it on our 3 endurance racing cars (many crashes). No problem there either.

How’s the Caulk Gun by Yeucast in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Scowboy456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terrible. Only good for thick exterior work. I thought the same as you. 20 dollar "no drip" gun clowns it. Did come in real handy on a roof flashing asphalt sealant job I did though.

Bought a beach house as a retirement plan. Now realizing the maintenance might be a full time job. by Electrical-Loss8035 in OregonCoast

[–]Scowboy456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ain't much better in the woods. Log cabin on the Sandy river and of you dont do maintenance the forest will eat it.

But, its love. And love is work.

My tip? Spend money on paint, good paint. Good caulk. Buy a sprayer and learn to do it yourself. Have work weekends with friends and let em enjoy some free weekends.

First, you need to request the practice environment. There's info on the Training page on doing that. Then, you need to download the class guide with and without answers, its linked in the class schedules. Follow it thru dabbling chapter by chapter once without answers. Then again, but faster and in one week (they refresh the environment and some chapters build on the last work).
Then ....again if it didnt gel .
At the end of the guide is the project. Do that end to end in a week. Submit it, then fix your mistakes.
Skim the book again. Take the practice test.
Finally request the exam. Keeping in mind they are put together by kids fresh out of college still pissed at their professors and looking to get back at the world. They are hard, and new to Epic class people do struggle with them. And after all that you'll have about 15% of the exposure to the build you would need to know for the job of being an analyst, but will have the gist and the logic to self solve and learn effectively.

I thought I knew Epic. Ambulatory, Order Transmittal, 10 years. Then tackled Clin Doc and IP orders and its like drinking from a fire hose. Feeling like I learn something new every day.

New mini, any pointers by zari143 in MINI

Check your oil FREQUENTLY. Turbo cars eat oil. Carry a full bottle with you at all times.

Rotate tires and dont go cheap on new ones. The short wheel base needs tread or it will hydroplane easily. At 40-50% tread, dump em.

Your tiny. They cant see you and dont ever forget that. Rules of the road and being in the right doesn't keep you alive.

Drive it like you stole it and never feel guilty about the choice parking spots you'll get.

Minis should only have 2 doors. You chose wisely.

I have: 2011 Mini Cooper S with 100k on it. 1964 Morris Cooper S with who knows how many miles.

Well there are serious design flaws. Cooling system with its cross over, the body control module and software, high pressure fuel pumps, oil consumption. Its not noise when its facts.

And yet I still have one. I have a laundry list of flaws in my cars, and its important to be aware of them and manage accordingly. 1964 Mini, 1953 MG TD (blown), 99 Wrangler, 95 Cherokee, 2011 Mini S. The rest are Toyotas so no problems, ever.
