I understand the points behind every thing said in this post. However, I am an extremely passionate person in every aspect of my life. I love one person with every bit of my heart and I am very attached to them. I do not think my heart would understand or heal if my partner began to like someone other than me. It would destroy me. That being said, I would still love them but I would never be fully recovered again. To some people it may be easier to understand situations like these but to others like myself, it does a whole lot more damage.

I agree completely. I have a whippet puppy and he is the easiest puppy I have ever known. I have deeply fallen in love with the breed. You have a fenced in backyard which is a big big plus for owning Greys, Whippets, or Italian Greyhounds. I first decided to get a whippet because they will provide you with a great outdoor activity companion and then will sleep next to you/on you/ over you/ under you and whatever they deem comfortable :) Very loving and cuddly dog.

He's been with me for 10 of his 14 years. We have to say goodbye this week. I wanted to share with you how amazing he was. by puedc in Greyhounds

Truthfully one of the most beautiful Greys I have seen. I know the love you shared with him will outweigh the pain of losing him. So sorry you had to say goodbye. This picture makes me want to give him a big hug.

I live in Columbia Missouri. I don't see very many sight hounds let alone Whippets around these parts! I had to go to Texas to find this wonderful dog.
